Last night I posted a diary about my omission from the speaker lineup at the Democratic Party of Wisconsin Convention, this coming weekend in LaCrosse.
I’ve now heard from Mike Murphy the Executive Director, and Joe Wineke, the State Chair, and I’m being shoehorned into the schedule, first after lunch on Saturday.
(Joe takes responsibility for neglecting to tell staff about his prior commitment to include me.)
I’ve begun collecting the 2,000 signatures required to appear on the Primary ballot. Anyone in Wisconsin who’d like to help, download Form EB 168, Nomination Paper for Partisan Office (pdf) and fill in the appropriate fields. Name and Address as in my sig, “Jurisdiction” is State of Wisconsin, “Office sought” is United States Senator.
Then circulate, and mail to me prior to the July 11 deadline.
