     It’s still going to be hot here today but then it’s going to be the low 80s for the rest of the week which will be nice.

     Do you have a big family celebration on the 4th?

       We had the get together yesterday.  

       I found out the Nephew is leaving tonight, so he and I will go buy fireworks today and try not to kill ourselves out by the pond later.

       You and Jim have any plans for the 4th?

         Nope, though I just found out last night that my mother is coming down to my sister’s so we’ll probably end up over there at some point.

           Holidays and get togethers are good, but I find I like my routine more.  More conducive to naps.

           I really don’t know what’s going on with kids these days.  I tried putting a guilt trip on my Nephew last night about mowing the lawn.  The old “I remember when Grandchildren loved thier Grandma’s so much, they were happy to mowing the lawn.”

           Of course I was never happy to go out and mow the lawn, but I figured it was worth a try.  He didn’t budge an inch.

           I’m going to have to work on my guilt trip technique.

     I’m backwards — I already had my long weekend (took Friday off) and am back to work too.

       Hope you had a good break.
       We had planned a trip to friends on LI tomorrow, but the forecast isn’t too impressive.  The alternate plan (that is; curly’s alternate plan) involves ask and window washing at her apartment.

   Hi, Andi. I was just reading about the meetup that super is organizing out on Longah Islandah. Wow, they’re gonna have a, ahem, super time.

   My eyes have been stinging and tearing like mad. There’s something in the air and it ain’t oxygen.

   I just got back from dropping the CabinBoys off at day camp…and now I have 8 blissful hours without them!  :::happy dance:::
