Oh, I forgot, O … you might be interested to know that I actually ate ice cream today. It came from an old fashioned pharmacy down the block that I can’t find a working link to… suffice to say, it’s hand/home made on the premises and is legendary in the city.
I had the fresh peach and it was wonderful. Now I’ve had my ice cream for the summer, lol.
I’m shocked! And happy for you … sounds good. Is this the link you were going to find for FM?

Yeah, I was hoping to find a good pic of the place, but no luck. Figures they aren’t on the net, since it’s a family establishment that has been there since the 20’s at least. Lunch counter, soda fountain, and tin ceilings, what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, those big apothecary jars filled with coloured liquids, looking so mysterious.
He’ll be interested to hear about your experience. 🙂

It is actually 24K, sorry to say. And in fact my patience with it is about tapped out for tonight, and then I’ve got to make another trip to Grand Forks tomorrow, so I think I’ll say night night to you, olivia, and Izzy, and KHD, enessay, and whoever might be left unaccounted for!
I plan to call my local computer guru tomorrow and see what the options are. I’m pretty fed up with this speed, especially as it’s at 75% of what it once was?????

have used them in mex and they work real good…dishes down there not much bigger than the tv ones you see all over…might kill several birds w/ a stone like that.

Well ordinarily I’d be saying that I’d escaped the Oklahoma heat for some milder So.Cal. weather. Not this time around. Apparently you folks in California are using record amounts of electricity to keep cool.

Got to take my son to his first major league baseball game yesterday (yay Angels!) and then today we took the kids to the Huntington Beach pier.
