It was worse actually … But I knew it would be (part of the reason yesterday was bad was b/c it was prepping for today).
But here we are in the cafe … so tell me some good stuff about you!
Been working the backend off today. Mostly in the house since it was too hot outside.
Other than that, pretty mundane. 🙂

We got some quotes on the ac today. Things are moving ahead on that front. Guessing it’ll be end of August, but not sure yet.

I think the cafe has been abandoned. It’s very, very quiet in here.
It’s been that way for a few weeks now.

And did you see the guys look at him as he joined up and then passed by their groups. Wow.
can’t get people fascinated by the tour, nothing can.

These were so good last night, I e-cycled them.
I was just alerted this hour that the No War Drum Corps and Portland’s Peaceful Response Coalition is now marching against the “war” and the Gaza/Lebanon attacks. It’s weird, I’m starting to learn the Iraqi names. The names use to sound so “foreign” to my ears… but now it’s like hearing the names Smith or Jones.
Hi DJ. It’s cooling off here, but I could still use one of those.
And all I have to say is I love you DJ … you’re a good egg and it makes me feel good knowing that you’re out there in the world doing your thing. 🙂

I have to go to the dentist to get a crown seated tomorrow morning, but from there it’s a short walk to the grocery store. Tossed salad for supper and root beer floats for dessert. Yum.

Slow Thursday night over here, I’m just having a relaxing day reinstalling my operating system. (No, really. I enjoy this sort of thing.)

Yeah, when I was doing Win 95 tech support the standard answer to every problem a customer had (among ourselves) was “reformat and reinstall.” As is often the case when these things happen, I screwed up somewhere in updating my previous version of Linux on this computer, so I’m taking this opportunity to try out a different version.

cooled off very nicely this eve…hughe t-storm went thru and dropped the temp @ 20º but pushed the humidity waaaaaay up.

I`m glad you did. When I walked by the Hibiscus this morning, I saw the sun setting off the sparklers, so I took that one with you in mind, since you did all that running around with that little purple one yesterday.

but it was a nice day for a drive through the country.
It was trying really hard to rain earlier this evening. Got so far as to wet the deck, but that’s about it. No lightning and no thunder, just general overcast with a little mist… so it’s trying.
Outside temp at 60F or about 13C.
hot chocolate and duvet snuggling weather …
hot chocolate might have attracted the heat… I think my down “duvet” might be a tad too toasty, anything new on the b today?

There are actually 13 versions of the Hookha Marmot, as a did a 30 degree color shift all the way around the spectrum to get the full psychadelic effect.

I’m one of those artists that doesn’t see art (or artists) as exceptional, but more the expression an upwelling in the collective conscience. Do I sound like a Fine Arts student, or what (BFA, class of ’97)?
3 yrs of Fine Arts. 6 yrs of Architecture school [undergrad and grad sch MArch] and many more practicing…i couldn’t have said it better:
