I’m in a prime kvetching state. Anything you’d like to complain about? I’m ready to gripe about everything and anything so why let it go to waste.
I could bitch about how swollen my thyroid gland is, and how I’ve lost 10lbs this week because of it, and how that assclown doctor I saw last month said, “Oh, there’s no symptoms of thyroid disease until you’ve had it for 20 years untreated,” and how I decided that he was dumber than a stuffed llama.
Or I could tell you that I dreamed about you last night. I’d inadvertently wound up coming to visit you (in some dreamworld kind of way, it was all very disjointed), and we sat around chatting and laughing and hanging out with the dogs, and then you & me and Kansas had all gone somewhere to see a an author give a talk (no one I know irl), and then to a reception afterward at the home of one of my old high school friends. Weird. We all had a great time, though. 🙂
I had a great time at a reception?!? Definitely a dream. (I’m just waiting for you to say the word and I’ll be over to visit IRL like a shot.)
Are you going to try a different doctor? I know this guy really bummed you out (I think we should go egg his house; I recall that always making me feel better) but there has to be a decent doctor somewhere around you (Cincy?).
There was pot and great music, it was fun. Trust my imagination, Andi. 🙂 As soon as I’m well enough for visiting, I’ll email you.
I can’t talk about doctor plans yet without flying into a rage, but if we thought about it we could probably think up a decent list of folks who deserve a good egging.

Don’t you worry, I think I have the dog bug and will continue looking out for dogs in need of a lazy, snuggly owner.
You’ll have to keep sending me pictures — Hopeful wants to make sure that you don’t end up with a dog that will steal your heart away from him.
Hopeful is my model. I keep looking at the pictures to see if they have the same soulful eyes and any dog that looks as if he could move faster than I will be immediately disqualified.

I was checking out the NC beagle rescue group but I’d have to undergo a background check, credit check, vet check, a battery of personality tests and a body cavity search before they’d approve our home.

actual temp = 80F, humidity at 71%, dark clouds to NW, thunder getting louder. Much louder and I’ll be pulling the plugs. On local radar it has hardly moved in the last hour, but seems to be getting bigger.
We had .40″ at 5:30AM, that’s the most at one time for the past 6-7 weeks, during which .25 was the highlight.

Here`s day 17 for this little recue. He`s/she`s almost ready to go out on her own. It flys into the rescued parrots cages through the bars. Obviously

I`m sending you an email in a min.Don`t open it if you don`t want to. It`s a jpeg, but it`s 4 megs I think. It`s one of my cactus gardens that is quite long. I shot it in 16 frames & put it together. It`s 10 ” high by 96″ long. This garden was set up by my wife to reflect an underwater reef. It has an unknown number of species in it & it trips people out.
Maybe you can figure out how to make it viewable in a smaller format or something.
