It’s a known fact that atrocities in a war are more likely to occur when the each warring side demonizes and dehumanizes their adversary. This is most easily done when racial or ethnic or religious differences can be highlighted.

It’s hard to torture someone who looks just like you, but if their appearance, their skin tone, their language, their religion or even their tribal identification is different it becomes much easier to rationalize brutal methods, the indiscriminate use of torture, and the murder of innocent civilians. The more one can turn the “enemy people” into things, subhumans, godless, etc., the easier it is to hate them, and the easier it is to kill, maim, gas, burn, beat their legs into pulp and even irradiate them.

What follows are various quotes, some of which are from America’s past, modified to replace the name of our former “enemy” with the current one, and some of which are very, very recent, but all of which, at heart, are racist and dehumanizing. See if you can identify those which are current and those which come from an earlier era:

You see, the animals that we’re not supposed to inconvenience in any shape, form or fashion, the worthless, disease-ridden subhuman slime that our Supreme Whores just saw fit to endow with all of the protections of the Geneva Conventions, just released a video of what they did to prisoners they’d taken.

Militant Islam has been very successful today infiltrating the free democracies. To a large extent, Muslims who immigrate to non-Muslim countries do not assimilate. And encouraged by many of the countries they emigrate to who hold high the scared banner of cultural diversity, Muslims feel no need to assimilate into their guest countries society. Even to the effect of setting up separate enclaves where even the police of the guest countries are afraid to enter.

Perhaps the most difficult and delicate question that confronts our powers that be is the handling–the safe and proper treatment–of Arabs, our Arab-American citizens by the accident of birth. But who are Muslims nevertheless. A snake is nonetheless a snake wherever the egg is hatched.

If we lose the war to the Islamofascists, it will be because the politically correct crowd has undermined America’s will to win and replaced it with an appeasement mentality that hopes to “go along, get along.”

I make the case that nuking Mecca would be a rational deterrent to radical Islamists bent on killing American civilians. However, even if there is no deterrent effect, attacking Mecca and wiping out the central locus of Islamic ritual worship may be in the long-term interests of the US and Occidental world.
