According to the British Sunday Times, friends of Hillary are whispering in her ear NOT to run for president, and concentrate on taking Harry Reid’s job as leader of the Senate in 2009.
What do you think folks?? It is possible?? She said stay tuned. I wonder what she has up her sleeve??

I think what happens in November will be the key; if the Democrats either take control or at least make significant gains, I think Hillary may stay in the Senate. At her age (she’s not 60 yet, I don’t think), she could conceivably have 12-18 more years in the Senate. And maybe she’ll realize that she’d have more power and influence as a Senate leader for 12+ years than she would as a 4- or 8-year President. (Not to mention the first female Senate majority leader, a possible combination with the first female Speaker of the House in Nancy Pelosi…)
I’m sure her decision will be determined entirely by polling. If she thinks she can win, she’ll run. If it becomes clear she couldn’t, then she won’t.
