Nope we’re here until tomorrow morning. You were saying yesterday you don’t know anything about Little Rock. Well it’s OK, but I wouldn’t call it a destination spot. 🙂
There’s some really nice area farther north at the beginning of the Ozarks.
They’re pretty plentiful around here. Morning trivia — they are a treatment of poison ivy.
I’ve got to admit I’m not particularly jealous of your getting to visit Arkansas.
I never have been to fond of Little Rock, but around the Ozarks is very pretty.

Morning Andi, FM, RF, CG and the gang! I’m being bad and checking in from work here … yet another early morning long day today <sigh>. At least this interminable “short week” is almost over here!
So that’s jewel weed? I’ve had people from out east ask me if we have that here and I’ve never seen the stuff, though C says it’s around but he can’t tell me where, lol. That’s the sort of weed I’d probably let go in my garden, as it’s very pretty.
Looking at yet another rainy Sat/Sun here (that would be about 4 in a row), so little outside time for me again… grrr… now that the temps are pleasant, I can’t find time to get out and do anything. Did get some great pics of our Spanish Flag vine and Holly berries last night, so expect a new b post w/in the next few days.
Hope everyone’s day flies by with a little help from the FSM! I’m ready to sleep in tomorrow… too many of those early mornings for me this week! Going to try to check in again later, but we’ll see how the day goes.
And FM… sorry to hear about that hotel rule… I’m going to be up against that again when I have to go to CA for work in a few weeks for 4 days! NOT looking forward to that!

Next will be doing voter id phone banking every night from now till october 7 and then get out the vote phone banking. I will also be doing a lot of cooking during September and October for fundraisers. Plus the usual blogging, podcast, and designs. LOL

Actually everything isn’t fine. From what I was told yesterday, every hotel room in the state is non-smoking, so I have to go outside. It’s never been one of my goals to be outside in a strange city at 4:30 in the morning. 🙂

FMom was saying she wanted to go there, but then decided she wouldn’t be able to do the walking. I’d like to go there and get some pictures, but I’ll have to see how things are going.
Are you getting ready for your walk or already done it?
I have to finish my paper before I go today. So I’m getting an early start on writing this am.

Sometimes at places like that they have wheelchairs or carts that you can borrow. It would be cool to go there.

Wow, that’s an early bus. How long is their ride?
I think about 25 minutes.
School must start earlier these days than way back in dark ages when I was going. Then again, I didn’ ride a bus until high school because until then I went to city schools.
Just out of bed and still dragging while I wait for the caffeine to hit. Scottish Breakfast, another old familiar favorite. Thinking about taking a story walk this morning since I’m not sure exactly what happens next. I don’t know if I need one, or if I can just get it by staring at the screen for a bit, but the walk would do me good, and the weather’s perfect, 68 and light clouds. Although we keep getting tiny rain burst that last a minute or two but don’t appear to be coming from anywhere.
Hey there KMc! Sounds like the great state of WI is having similar weather to ours, though a bit too rainy for my tastes of late (keeps me inside too much, and I’m already dreading winter!). I gathered from a quick read through of a cafe the other day that you’ve gone into a 2nd printing of your book … congrats! Hope it continues to do well for you, and that you’re pleasantly zapped with inspiration on your walk today!
I miss those early fall pleasant days in the cheese belt … even though they portend more unpleasant days to come, but I wouldn’t leave the midwest again for anything! So glad I came back when I did, and I’m here to stay.
Hope you’re having a nice day at work and thanks for the conngrats. Haven’t put together the enrgy yet for the walk, but I’m thinking I’ll go even if I don’t need the inspiration. Falll in the midwest is one of my favorite times and it’s just starting with a few trees turning here and there. If I could, I’d love to do an annual tour with spring in Scotland, summer in the northern Rockies, fall in Wisconsin and winter on Kauai.
Still no word on the job front yet. I’ll be out for at least some of the day helping a friend update his web page. He does intaglio carving of gunstocks and other similar items (e.g. pool cues) and does some pretty nice work. If I ever get the banjo of my dreams I’m thinking I might have him decorate it for me.
That and I need to put in some more time on my Working Together diary. So I’ll see all you slackers later.
