Not sure where BooMan is today. Perhaps he’s BooMan is continuing to have trouble with his Comcast cable connection (see thread below). So, in his absence, allow me to point out a few recent diaries here at the Frog Pond which I found very worthwhile reading:
Jeff Huber’s latest Iran’s Star Rising in the Next World Order (Part II), the second in his series about the looming military confrontation with Iran.
Chimneyswift’s overlooked diary, which asks the all too pertinent question: How obvious is your dissent?
jimstaro on WMD’s – Cluster Munitions, which reminds us that weapons of mass destruction don’t just come in three flavors.
Greyhawk’s backhanded compliment to the Heckuva Job Party.
STOP George with his breaking news story about the dangers of smoke inhalation when straying too near our Demon-in-Chief
Renee from Ohio’s diary recounting Bob Fitrakis’ speech on the Stolen 2004 election in Ohio at the Rainbow PUSH September Summit.
And last but not least Madman in the Marketplace’s impassioned rant against the timidity of the Democratic Party Establishment in his oddly titled diary (well, I think it’s an odd title) fri rdm 10 – Friends of the Devil edition.
Feel free to add others to my short list in the thread below.
My internet is down HARD. My local coffee shop doesn’t have internet access on the weekends (cheapskates). So, I am at a friends house using their access. I have no idea when my internet will be back up.
Have I mentioned that Comcast sucks?? They suck.
Sorry Boo. I have never had such an extended issue with my cable provider.
The are one of only two providers we have here in the inner city. Comcast compounds their sins by charging more for the very same services they provide just outside the city limits – where there is, of course, more choice.
We don’t use comcast, so we don’t have cable TV either. Not much of a loss on either account.
My ex-husband worked on hardware/networks. Phone rang after work hours, we’d let the machine pick up. If it was an account who gave him hell, think he’d answer? If it was one who treated him decently, the phone was answered.
You think people who work at comcast don’t surf the blogs? Try being polite, instead of constantly posting comcast sucks. (Sounds like you REALLY pissed someone off.) I don’t know anyone who has had the problems with comcast that you do.
OTOH, you sure you paid your bill?
