It looks like a fruit explosion with white stripes. After reading all of the warnings on the oil based primer I decided to take my chances with latex and I’ll buy that tomorrow. I was a little afraid I’d kill all of my animals and maybe myself and the boy.
Don’t you just love the surprises that come with home improvement projects? My all time favorite old house renovation horror story involves having the carpenter chisel out a windowsill 3 days before Christmas so I could get the old stove out and put the new one in in time to make holiday dinner…
My mom has done the unraveling thing too, but mostly because she decided she dudn’t like what she was working on.
I need to find a new project to keep me entertained over the winter. It was so much easier when the boys were younger and thier sweaters were smaller (and cuter).
I was liking the glowing things on the floor in the family room that look like cat’s eyes. I had to go down and check. It’s a glow in the dark dog leash.
I’ve got another nice foggy shot I’ll use later — I’m not sure it’s as nice but I slogged through gawdawful mud to get it so at some point you all will just have to look at it.
to the memory of author John M Ford, or Dr. Mike of science fiction fandom if you prefer. He was a good man and a damn fine writer and he is gone as of early this a.m.
Hey you, ya, I mean you. Why are YOU testing?
Hi Olivia. That`s a nice test pattern.
Do you remember this?
I don`t mean to abuse your artwork, but I remembered seeing an animal in your great shot.
Kinda slow, eh?
kinda.
kinda really.
kinda really yup
How’s the kitchen look?

You mean the 8 years I spend taking oil painting should have killed me? Or maybe it just fried my brain — that would explain a lot.
That does explain alot. Really I think I’m just too lazy for the cleanup involved with oil.
I think you should go take a picture and post it. I wanna see how it looks in its non-pristine state.
I’m not sure even a picture of my wallpaper can liven this place up.
Are you going to just paint over the wallpaper?
Yeah, it was put over unprimed wallboard 20 years ago so it can’t really come off.

of building your own house — you exactly where the all horror stories are. Too bad it’s the big disadvantage too.
I thought your house was beautiful even after you pointed out the mistakes.
Well it cleaned up nicely just for you. 🙂
And we didn’t point out the biggest mistake.
My knitting is the same way. 🙂
Nah, I loved the sweater you made me with 3 arms.
My mother started making a sweater for me when I was 14. 30 years later she finally decided she wasn’t going to finish it and unraveled it.
Too bad, it was probably back in style by then.
don’t think so — IIRC it had a boatneck, 3/4 length sleeves and was puke pink.
My mom has done the unraveling thing too, but mostly because she decided she dudn’t like what she was working on.

You could make snuggly little blanket/throws for foster kids to take with them when they get shuffled from home to home to home…:(
say, how about a puke pinnk sweater with a boatneck and 3/4 length sleeves!
the racing stripes are nice effect — maybe you should leave them.

trying to abduct HJ for her droolworthiness.
It’s Hay!
(i’m delirius, six minutes left and counting…)
you may be delirious but apparently the visuals are coming through fine.
It’s time to go!
I also meant to say, “Great pic, Andi!”
And I’m off, hasta tarde.
Hay that’s neat!
It was nice to get something out of the trip to the doctor besides some cold metal poked up my nose.
reminds me of home.
🙂

Post away … I love looking at your pix … and what’s this about mud? Hmmmmm … 😉
The mud was about 3 inches deep and really gooey (the soil around here is clay).
(Stop by the wednesday morning cafe to see it)
Save the mud wrestling talk for when FM is feeling better. Nothing will cheer him up faster. 🙂
And how are you doing after your migraine?
Whenever one finally ends I feel very energized. I got a ton of stuff done today. 🙂
That`s the best mood shot. It`s a painting. That slogging in the mud is much appreciated.

Vale.
Here’s a wiki entry
And more at Making Light.
Someone dropped off a pic of some boowomen, at least I think that was the idea. Why are the frogs all looking down?
Uh, gravity?
some people have way too much free time
Do frogs breastfeed? Those women have guts, that’s for sure. I mean, courage – not guts.
Said with tongue in pants… I mean, cheek – not pants

That is so cool!
LOL … 🙂
