It’s another perfect fall day, though unseasonably warm, and my in-laws are coming on Thursday to see our house for the first time and it’s a huge mess and smells like dog pee.

Hopeful Jr. and friend investigating the air-worthiness of an ultralight. Um…not so much.

I’ve been taking advantage not-daylight savings time (which somehow means I get daylight earlier) to go walk in between rains.

    Not very many trick or treaters yet though one toddler showed up with purple balloons pinned all over her leotard – a bunch of grapes. Then there are the assorted teeny bopper girls dressed like, um, streetwalkers. Trick or treat.
