   Connecticut-Democrat + 1

   As he pursued his national political ambitions, Lieberman too often ignored Connecticut. He also pursued policies that left longtime supporters on the sidelines, wondering about his judgment.

   His insistence, for example, that Congress should meddle in a family dispute involving Terri Schiavo, a woman who doctors said was in a vegetative state, was disappointing.

   His unquestioning support of Bush administration policies on Iraq, even as American military casualties mounted and Iraq spiraled out of control toward civil war, was a failure of duty and he should be held accountable.

   It took the Lamont challenge to get Lieberman back to Connecticut to explain some of the choices he has made in Washington.

   Lieberman thinks he is gonna play both parties? Watch the asshole get left hanging in the wind. He’s so fucking stupid he doesn’t even realize the repugs are using. Blind ambition!

     I could sort of excuse him if I thought he was stupid.  He’s cynical and self-serving.  He doesn’t care who gets him there as long as he can have his power.  He is the best thing since sliced bread, don’t cha know?  Just ask him.

   Gee, what a surprise, I talk about who controls Congress, and somehow we end up with more Lieberman bashing. Praytell me what does one have to do with the other?? Answer, nothing, just more trollish behavior on this website. Get over it people.

     ECM, while I’m glad you’ve stopped, um, shoving your boy Lieberman down our throats, I haven’t forgotten your trollish behavior in the process (and neither has anyone else).  So don’t get all self-righteous here.

     That said, 21 house, 4 senate, and I be happy to have understimated the outcome on both counts.

     It’s because you still haven’t apologized for repeatedly being an a**hole to numerous people on this site.  Forgiveness is yours, but the price is an apology.  Of course, you are too big and puffy to do that, so this is what you get in return.
