Health Care issues for us Veterans will now be addressed.
The Veterans Care Program started by the Gov. and Lt. Gov will now have meat behind it.
Tammy this Veteran welcomes you to the fight. You fought for our Country given your legs in her defence. We Veterans will stand tall behind you. HooYa Sister may God Bless you our Troops and Veterans.

Gov. picks Duckworth to head Veterans’ Affairs
Iraq war veteran and former congressional candidate Tammy Duckworth has a new mission: director of the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Gov. Rod Blagojevich announced Tuesday.
”As a soldier I fought for my country, and now I thank Governor Blagojevich for giving me the opportunity to fight for my fellow Illinois veterans,” Duckworth said in a statement Tuesday.
Ummm, maybe this year I’ll celebrate my birthday, the day our little Sister steps into her new position after confirmation. Don’t do birthdays, to many have passed, so a Celebration for Tammy and Her Vets will take place instead.
Duckworth’s appointment to the $102,000-a-year-job is scheduled to begin Dec. 15 and still needs confirmation from the state Senate.
Before the war, Duckworth was manager of district administration for Rotary International’s Asia-Pacific region. She also helped coordinate research grants and funding at the Center for Nursing Research at Northern Illinois University, and was a logistics officer with the National Guard in Peoria.
Thing is Tammy you’ll be facing the Apathy of the Society you Served, like Funding, and this Nationwide Growing Problem:
We Owe Iraq&Afgan Troops Proper Medical Care-And More!
AMERICAN veteran facilities and troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are at the eye of what might best be described as a imperfect storm.
Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs
Little Sister, no matter where in the country us Vets are located, we got your back, and as for me, thinking maybe a possible Federal VA Appointment come January 1st 2009 {or sooner}, like taking on the whole thing!!
