Soldier: accident
friend: oh no … what happeend?
Soldier: of course
friend: well you woudlnt’ do it on purpose
Soldier: they came too close, ignored signals given to stop
Soldier: and one of the guys did what he was supposed to, which was protect us
Soldier: everyone’s taking it pretty hard
friend: .. that is a very rough day
Soldier: esp. for the kid
friend: what did you do w/ him?

note: I included the IM in yesterday’s diary at dKos, and am re-running it today with different pictures, but without the poem that previously appeared.
