I’ve got their version of “We Three Kings” in my Christmas MP3 collection. It’s pretty funny.
Amazing to think that these guys are the same ones who portrayed The Folksmen in “A Mighty Wind.” In fact I read someplace that they (as The Folksmen) used to open for themselves (as Spinal Tap), to the great bemusement of the crowds that showed up.
Clean tables and gift wrapping supplies on every table. Gift bags for the lazy ones.
Where’s the tape? Under the blue starred wrapping paper? No. Under the Rudolph paper? No. Under the big box of ribbons? NO!
It’s under the Martha Stewart KMart wrapping paper in tasteful moss green and muted gold.
ah, your right. whew. I was beginning to panic.
what’s the matter, don’t you have any chewing gum at home?
haven’t you noticed that gum isn’t as sticky as when we were kids. They just don’t make anything the way they used to.
And boy are the dentists pissed.
See ya’ll, I’m gone.
aw, come back. We don’t care if you slur your typing. 🙂
Oops. He made fun of me for typing peach train instead of peace train. Come back, FM. I was just kidding you.
besides you made a typo up above so he was obviously just trying to make you feel better.
It was intentional. I don’t like to appear too perfect in the cafes. I find it’s a little off putting to the other patrons.
you’ve always been very good at disguising your perfection. 😛
I try very hard
they don’t miss gum — they have nips.
It’s where yoiu want iT Mary. Think of of what you want and ir’s there.
I think you’re having a TIA, FM. That’s a precursor of a stroke. Slow down, big fella.
I’m looking for tape — not ir.
I’m even lazier than that. I want a gift that wraps itself.
used in a commercial on msnbc … this is a sign of something – of what I’m not sure.
oh, and maryb — mix some flour and water to make a paste or use ribbon and tie it up nicely.
It’s a sign that you’re getting old. My son heard Citizen Cope on a car commercial and was very distressed.
but at least they’ve got a long way to go before the events of their childhoods become nostalgia fodder.
it’s spinal tap!
you know, of ‘lick my love pump’ fame …
a weird choice for an ad … LOL
gimme some money
mix some flour and water to make a paste
LOL, you are so funny Olivia! I don’t cook. Remember?
just take a bit of flour — from when you made cookies — and sprinkle some water in it ’til it forms a paste.
I could take FM’s advice and say “screw the tape” for tonight and buy some tomorrow. The slackerly way is calling to me.
I wasn’t serious about the paste thing … 🙂
I know 😉
Me too. What better way to slack then by going to bed?
I have meetings all day tomorrow and then my daughter’s surgery is Wednesday.
G’night.
g’night

and everybody has gone to bed so they don’t hear it, am I still one?
Night.
