When I was born my parents were kindof making a last ditch effort for a boy (I have 3 OLDER sisters, heh), though, they had already resigned themselves to the likelyhood I would be another HER to add to the collection (and had chosen the name Jennifer, I think?). Surprisingly, I was a HIS.
Given that they needed to come up with a different name fast, the date I was born gave them two celebratory options:
Boxing Day
OR
The Feast of Stephens
Fortunately they chose the latter. Feast is a much better name than Box! LOL JK And that is a little bit of Stephen’s HIStory.
Does SN have any interesting birthday stories to share?
Just pathetic ones of attempting to have a little birthday party as a child and no one could attend because they were all at grandparents, out of town, etc.

Better than that. Ryan and Colin made dinner and Ben cleaned up. I got the queen treatment.
What did they make?
Poutine and chitlins. LOL
Colin grilled steaks and Ryan made a salad and baked potatoes.
ordinarily I would be jealous but I am full of dumplings and bean threads with spinach and shrimp.
Sounds lovely and healthy. I am on a red meat high right now. It really was good but after the past week of eating crap I’m ready to settle down with salads and good stuff. We’ll see, huh? 😉
We had our red-meat feast yesterday (the marinated flank steak was yummy) which will do us for quite awhile — neither one of us are big on beef and pork. And I love veggies.
Highly appropriate, if you ask me.

when I got home today I checked the mail and had a present waiting from my secret santa. I got a lovely S shaped rainbow dragon ornament and a Gay & Proud Magnet for my fridge. I could not be more pleased and I guess the weird snow storms and weather delayed the delivery but I have thanked my secret santa prfusely and this has somehwat renewd my faith in mankind. LOL
