Any word on the fiends that stole my fleece?
Today is actually warm, but we had a spate of cool and rainy weather last week. Poor Inti had to huddle in the shelter to stay reasonably warm and dry. Everyone else, including little Pacha, sat out in the rain as usual.
Don’t know about comfortable but the diary photo is the epitome of scrawny. Scrawny but adorable.
It’s easy to forget just how much is critter and how much is fluff. You can really see that they are camels when they are near naked.
Along the same lines, it’s only recently struck us that Luna is finally filling out. Now, when we bathe her, half of the dog no longer “disappears.”
Giddy is like that — well she’s more the alpacas than Luna — she’s always been mostly fur and as she has reached her “senior” years the ratio of fur to dog seems to have expanded tremendously
Hi keres.
These are older pictures of Tom our outside cat.
And a close up.
Looks like he’s eyeing George and trying to decide if there’s enough meat there to make all that fur worth it.
George has learned that Tom doesn’t take any of his crap. He gives Tom plenty of room when they meet outside. For this I’m happy. I always worry that if Tom gave him a swipe with his claws, he might get on of George’s eyes.
He certainly has a “mess with me at your peril” look.
Hi keres.
Not just the look, he acts it too.
Gorgeous cat. And just why is he an outside cat?? Looks like he should be ruling the roost.
Hi KS.
He outside because he and Cat don’t get along, plus he would tear up George.
Your animals are always doing interestingly picturesque stuff and mine hardly ever. Sometimes, though, they do manage to do nothing in a sort of scenic way.
Stuff or no, your photos are always picturesque.
Mostly I just catch my critters sleeping at odd angles or otherwise looking goofy.
Nah, you’re really good at capturing them being interesting — it’s a nice combination, I think, of camera skill, personality-plus animals, and very good reflexes.
Well, since you put it that way, I’ll accept the complement.
It also helps that I’m very sneaky – for a fair-sized human being I can be very light on my feet.
I just caught myself, hua-hua mix on lap, singing to him:
“Love dog,
Never meant to be….”
