I love this photo … especially the beautiful blue sky (as it is very grey here today), but also the cloud patterns. This is SO much better than soggy cereal … 🙂
I decided yesterday that the decoding was too easy, and that I must be somewhat dyslexic. Which would explain my problems with mixing up left and right during yoga class…
So, did you and curly make it through the whole speech? I thought he looked awful, and I wondered what they drugged him with to keep him from smirking. He could hardly read the words on the teleprompter!
I honestly think he’s been disintegrating at a frighteningly rapid pace over the last 6 months, but especially after the elections in November. It seems he realizes the new congressional nanny might discipline him, and certainly won’t be the pushover that the old one was…scary indeed.
You know, every president seems to age fast while they’re in office. I used to deride Bush for not having any worries and so he escaped that process. At first. Did he worry about the wars he started? Nah. How about all those young American men and women he sent off to their death or physical and/or mental impairment? Hell no. Shit on them, they’re mostly lower class people that he wouldn’t give a sneeze for. What has made George Bush age with worry? The prospect that he will be remembered as the worst of the worst American presidents. His big fat hairy Bush ego is bruised, poor baby. He’s such a small man… with big mental problems.
I didn’t watch last night. But he blinked like 50 times in the 45 second clip I caught this morning. And he looked like a deer in the headlights… he looked pale and puffy. I think he’s falling apart.
Morning FamilyMan!!!! I usually do not watch him but felt compelled to last night. I was furious of course after he dpoke but have calmed down this am. LOL
I figured it would be much of the same thing, so there was no reason to watch and get pissed. Plus I’m sure on the news today there will be all sorts of reporting and opinions about last night.
LOL I listend to the two sides for about 2 hours afterwards and some of them pissed me off more than shrub did. I finally went back to watching cartoons so I could calm down and sleep. LOL
I watched the shrub, AND slept like a rock. Although I am a little worried about his plans to expand his mess to include Syria and Iran.
Heard from OB about the elder CB yesterday…he’s doing fine, being his chatty self, and already backpacking through the desert. And the other kids are from all over the country, from Hawaii to Maine (but strangely, no one from the midwest or south – what do Republicans do with their attitudinal chldren?).
I wouldn’t say perfect. By the time they’re 13 we start letting the drive the old beaten up pick up and running the still by themselves. I guess the responsibility of making a good batch of white lighting makes them behave. 🙂
My midwest state replaced 3 repubs with 3 dems in the last election so I think we can no longer be written off as absolutely red (not quite purple — maybe a soft pink).
Midwesterners are afraid of places without trees or corn.
Damn I got to doing something on the computer and just burned the biscuits. They’re not salvageable even scrapeing the bottom. Arrgggg I hate when that happens.
I’ve been up since 1:30 am, so my internal clock says it’s time for the mid morning nap. I hate to get thrown off my routine. If I had been napping, I wouldn’t have put the biscuits in the oven in the first place, so nothing bad would have happened. Isn’t it great to be able to rationalize things. 🙂
Hey everybody, how is every little thing? I hope to be around a teensy bit more. I really miss hanging out at BooTrib. I’ve been having technical difficulties, been incredibly busy and have been sick. The technical difficulties are about to be solved I hope. The rest will eventually take care of itself.
After way above normal temps, I fear that winter is finally showing it’s gnarly face. Icky-poo.
Well, I gotta go let the critters out of the barn.
Just wanted to bop in and say “Howdy”.
Live from New York: good morning, froggies! Just droppin’ in to say hello with the morning java-fix. Hope you’ve all had a decent week so far. As for me, I’m basking in a terrific change of atmosphere.
Lovely cloud image above, Andi! According to those patterns, I’d say you’re seeing some changing weather. Then again, aren’t we all?
Andi! Sorry for delay in reply. I’m getting my little ducks in a row here & flitting all over town.
Yes indeed, I’m quite pleased to be back home, where folks actually wear winter coats & the trees shed leaves. I hear it’s set to warm up a bit here as well. I don’t mind what it does, as long as I’m not melting.
Howdy there, Miss O! Great to see you as well. Hope you’re doing well with (slightly?) cooler temperatures.
Thanks for asking — the trip was fine, though long (32 hours). I sat beside a US ‘troop’, a young kid, likely set for a third tour in Iraq. Frankly, it broke my heart. My other traveling friend was a young woman wearing a green ‘Frogg Pond’ hoodie. Apparently it’s a bar in Philadelphia.
Haven’t had much of a chance to chill out & rest (despite cold/fever) since arrival Tuesday night, but it’s fine.
Still sickly-boy does this suck! I coughed so hard last night my ribs are sore. The fever’s gone and most of the coughing too but I’ll be taking another day off work I do believe.
well, I’ve probably missed you again* but you’re welcome to share the chicken soup — especially since I see that you’re in need of it’s medicinal properties. Hope you feel well enough soon to fully enjoy your surroundings.
* I’d say we have stop meeting like this but I prefer meeting like this to not meeting at all.
Good morning Andi. Nice cloud picture.
Are you ready for another wonderful day of work today?
Do you always wake-up feeling like the mean widdle kid
Just about ever day. About mid-morning I start turning into the compassionate caring person I really am. 🙂
You’re nice when you’re asleep.
but not everybody spends most of their time asleep so that they get to be nice most of the time.
One of the secrets to slackdom. If you’re asleep you can’t piss anybody off. I’m going to have to try this staying awake thing someday. 🙂
you sleep alone — otherwise there are plenty of opportunities of pissing someone off.
Hey I’ve got George, but he’s pretty mild mannered. 🙂
I love this photo … especially the beautiful blue sky (as it is very grey here today), but also the cloud patterns. This is SO much better than soggy cereal … 🙂
Thank you!
would work. 🙂
I like cereal with bananas.
LOL
But all day soggy cereal w/ curdling milk and stinky banana? lol
I do not like cereal … I do not like bananas … and I’m pretty sure I would not like them combined … 🙂
Good morning Andi and FM,
curly has a working keyboard.
I’m grateful to curly — I don’t think I can do the decoding this early in the morning.
I decided yesterday that the decoding was too easy, and that I must be somewhat dyslexic. Which would explain my problems with mixing up left and right during yoga class…
At least it was fun for a little while.
So, did you and curly make it through the whole speech? I thought he looked awful, and I wondered what they drugged him with to keep him from smirking. He could hardly read the words on the teleprompter!
We did, somehow.
He looks lost, a beaten man. With his psychology, a terrible prospect
I honestly think he’s been disintegrating at a frighteningly rapid pace over the last 6 months, but especially after the elections in November. It seems he realizes the new congressional nanny might discipline him, and certainly won’t be the pushover that the old one was…scary indeed.

I was surprised how easily I adjusted to doing the substitution — even a geezer’s mind is surprisingly flexible.
Whew. Maybe I’m not lysdexic then.
OTOH, I have that right and left problem too. When I give directions, Jim always asks “Is that a real right?”
Good morning ask. It seems everybody has been having problems with computer, keyboards or screens.
Morning ask!!!!
Hope everyone had a good night’s sleep and that those who watched shrub last night did not have nightmares.
Here is the link to the podcast I did last night after the debacle on national TV.
Suge, Just Another Bush Mistake
I skipped it and slept quite well.
Morning Miss Andi!!! I watched and still slept well knowing I never voted for the jerk and am doing everything I can to stop him. LOL
Good morning Refinish.
I didn’t even watch it last night. I just can’t bring myself to watch him on tv. I’ll give a listen to your podcast.
Morning FamilyMan!!!! I usually do not watch him but felt compelled to last night. I was furious of course after he dpoke but have calmed down this am. LOL

Yep I wanted to save myself from all that anger, so I decided I would wait and see. Plus by the time he came on, I was almost asleep.
No nightmares, in spite of the painful experience.
Good morning Andi, ask, refinish, and family man!
I watched the shrub, AND slept like a rock. Although I am a little worried about his plans to expand his mess to include Syria and Iran.

Morning CG. Glad to hear CB is doing well. Down here our children are so well behaved we don’t have to deal with attitudinal changes. 🙂
Oh, yeah, how could I forget? Southern teenagers are perfect, bless their hearts.
I wouldn’t say perfect. By the time they’re 13 we start letting the drive the old beaten up pick up and running the still by themselves. I guess the responsibility of making a good batch of white lighting makes them behave. 🙂

Midwesterners are afraid of places without trees or corn.
Must be the trees and corn thing, then.
Everyone have a great day!!!!! I will check in from work if I can.
Damn I got to doing something on the computer and just burned the biscuits. They’re not salvageable even scrapeing the bottom. Arrgggg I hate when that happens.
Time for a nap where nothing bad can happen (until you wake up and find out all the rotten things that happened while you were snoozing).
Clearly time for a nap, then, wherein you can dream that the biscuits came out perfectly.
As soon as this second batch of biscuits come out and I eat, then it’s nap time. Some things are just to important to miss. 😉
Happy biscuit-eating and napping. Work time for me. 🙁
Ta.

Just wanted to bop in and say “Howdy”.
…maybe I’ll be back a little later.
I’ve been wondering where you’ve been. Good to see you this morning!
And can you believe it finally feels like winter today?
Hi, CG… it’s good to see you as well. I didn’t abandon ship, I was forced to walk the plank for a while. 😉
It was 13 degrees this morning, all crunchy and frozen. I guess we all were getting too used to that ‘mild winter’ concept.
If the weather patterns hold, you should be warming up soon. We’re going from the low 20s to the upper 40s here.
Glad that you’ve arrived in colder climes and that it is making you happy.
That’s an older image and it was going from colder to warmer which, coincidentally, is what it is doing today.
It’s so good to see ya … how was the trip? 😀

though since it’s only virtual, it doesn’t really count. Anyway, hope you feel better soon.
I could definitely use a bit of that stuff myself! How kind of you to offer such a big virtual bowl, so that we can all indulge.
Hope you’re feeling well soon, ‘soup!
well, I’ve probably missed you again* but you’re welcome to share the chicken soup — especially since I see that you’re in need of it’s medicinal properties. Hope you feel well enough soon to fully enjoy your surroundings.

Hi everyone, I wonder if someone can give me the link to the roborater.
Just for you!
Thanks CG, that was fast and hi FM!!!
Hi diane.
I would but it has been so long that I’ve forgotten were it was. If Omir shows up I’ll ask him.
