Lieberman: there is so much on the line in Iraq, we overthrew Saddam, mistakes were made, the people that attacked us on 9/11, the threat of Iran, there is sectarian violence in Baghdad, no one is happy where we are now, but the President has a plan, any alternatives are about failing about withdrawing, it would be a disaster, this is a reasoned approach, we have a new general, he’s brilliant, let’s give him a chance, we can win and it will be critical to the future security of the American people.
I don’t know how to spell the sound that is coming out of my throat after reading that. Gwaerjxzkickseuwblagurp! Something like that.
Lieberman sux.
The reason why Lieberman and Bush match up up well is both are obsessive fanatics. Lieberman considers himself to be the strongest protector of Israel’s survival/interest in the current American political base. No other issue supersedes this one for Joe Lieberman. The Lieberman-Bush relationship is a traditional client-patron relationship, and between the two there is little doubt who is who. Bush finds comfort and solace in his relationship with Lieberman; in that he truly feels that Lieberman understands that his (Bush’s) fanatical dedication to protecting the world from Islamic Terrorism springs from his own Christian roots. Both feel that the unqualified destruction of Syria and Iran are necessary for the world to survive.
Gosh, how fair and balanced a panel is that.
two pro-war and two anti-war, split within parties. Actually, I don’t think it is too bad as far as demonstrating the actual splits in the Senate.
However, more people agree with Hagel and Dodd.
But I thought Liberman was a party-of one..some type of Independent Democrat..
Has the program has already played on the east coast, we are just getting it here now and I am, so early in the morning sitting here shouting at Hadley over his answers.
Well, it is good to know that the new general is brilliant. Too bad the old one wasn’t. Really too bad that the commander in chief isn’t.
because he has to make a silk purse out of a sows ear while the whole world watches and waits……..foot tapping. He had better be a triple Einstein with a side of Hawking.
Crooks and Liars has the video if anyone missed it.
.
a liar and a traitor to the American people and nation.
We’ve been lied to and seen as fools for 5 years now, the (Israeli) focus is on Iran now? Words uttered in the same sentence as 9/11 and Al Qaeda? He is EVIL just like this administration and the neocons!
