I’m shakin’ over here at Booman tribune; getting used to the place, trying to figure out what to post here, what at big Orange, and what at both places.
I got here because Booman handled the whole blogroll thing so graciously. Graciousness is good, as far as I’m concerned. We can crash the gates and storm the barricades, but we don’t need to be rude about it π
Got no i-pod or i-tunes – I never figured them out, but I have a kick-ass Bose Wave and a bunch of cds…..all at work but here’s some of what I’ve got
Glenn Gould’s original Goldberg Variations
John Coltrane – A Love Supreme
Vivaldi Bassoon Concertos
Mozart Piano Sonatas by Mitsuko Uchida
Errol Garner – Concert by the sea
Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers
A feather on the breath of God – Hildegard von Bingen
Is that kind of stuff available on i-tunes/i-pod or whatever? I need a tutorial
Who Cares? – Michelle Shocked
The Crystal Ship – The Doors
And She Was – Talking Heads
From The Cradle to the Grave – Leo Kottke
How Long – Dire Straits
The Work Song – Kate & Anna McGarrigle
Aja – Steely Dan
Pure And Easy – The Who
Ovalle: Brazilian Song – Kathleen Battle & Christopher Parkening
Dringo Bell – Mediæval Bæbes
Thank you Miss Andi!!! I like all the list I have seen so far. I know most of the songs on them. There are a couple on Manegee’s I don’t recogbize but… such is life.
I have never had the pleasure of experiencing the Roborater. I’ve tried over and over again, but I just can’t seem to push it over the top and make it work for me. I’m sweating and breathing hard and my heart is pounding, but still I cannot attain Roborater bliss.
You don’t try with the robo-rater. You let the robo-rater take you to the apex and just as you’ve taken just about all you can stand, you’re back in the cafe.

I guess I’d better try to remember all those lectures my mother gave me 40 years ago.
you’re the most gracious of all of us here in the pond … π
And what am I, chopped liver…….
You are the slackitude to which we all aspire…
That’s more like it. π
FM, you know how much I aspire … See ya!
Have fun at the game.
cheese grits are a possibility though.
I’m hungry. Do they go with beer?
Sure they do. What do you think I have for breakfast every morning?
I can live with that. π
that someone called me gracious — I wouldn’t want to cause a stroke.
she wouldn’t be happy to learn all those lectures worked?
see you all later … it’s hockey night in ottawa!
Remember tape some good fights. π
I’ll tell her at Channukah next year. LOL
Welcome…do you know what Random 10 is?
And what are you drinking? First round is on me!
Not sure what Random 10 is – looks like a list of songs….but what more?
is a random 10 from your ipod or itunes. It is just something we do on Fridays to share our varied musical taste.
I see.
Got no i-pod or i-tunes – I never figured them out, but I have a kick-ass Bose Wave and a bunch of cds…..all at work but here’s some of what I’ve got

Hi Andi,
I know a bunch of that stuff – guess we’re the same generation.
born in 1950.
Ohh – I wasn’t fishing for years… π
Well, I announced my 50th in the Cafe a few months back.
I was just showing off my specialness — there’s just me and few select (gazillion) others who were born in 1950.
Don’t have a random 10 tonight, but thought I’d drop in to see what happening.
Line me up 27 beers and I start singing the first random ten that come to mind.
Start with this one:
LOL So glad this is typed instead of vocal. LOL
I was looking for the ozomatli on there…
How was work this week?
had zero motivation this week so only a fraction of my duties were finished. Oh well, they can wait till Monday.
The new Ozo album comes out on April 3rd. I CAN’T WAIT!!! The jukebox on their website has four new songs available to hear if CBtE hasn’t heard yet.
a list that let’s me know just how out of it I am. π
has to make sure the geezer line is drawn bold and wide around here π
ROTFLMAO!!!!
boring FRTs.
You think you’re out of it?
Everyone on my list is dead!
Some for half a millennium
Yes, but will anyone know who the hell Mariah Carey was in 300 years?
Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes? Whoa, I’m getting dizzy from that trip back in time. You’re a 60 year old in a youngster’s body.
3.A Whiter Shade of Pale -Annie Lennox
4.Part of My Life -India Arie
5.Fever-Bette Midler
6.I Can’t Wait -Nu Shooz
7.Goodbye – Alicia Keyes
Hope everyone is having a great Friday evening so far.
That is a really fine list you’ve got there.
Thank you Miss Andi!!! I like all the list I have seen so far. I know most of the songs on them. There are a couple on Manegee’s I don’t recogbize but… such is life.
I have bunches of Maria Muldaur. I love how she makes every song feel like she owns it.
and what a set of vocal cords on that woman. I just love her voice.
Mrs Dem and I are big Maria fans too. I sensed that we had more in common than just politics;-)
where I can downl;oad the auto rater thing. LOL I updated the java on my computer and hopefully the dang thing will work now.
Robo-rater
How long does it stay on rating please stand by?
I just did it and it was about 3 seconds.
okay so it doesn’t work in IE LOL
That could be a problems. π
OMG I just downloaded fire fox and tried the rater and it is a damn dream!!!!
Why have you waited so long to move to firefox?
Never mind, congratulations! Woo-Hoo! Refinish can roborate! π
LOL I don’t know. My original computer always fried every time I tried different browsers so I was afraid of locking this one up. LOL
I am so glad I finally switched browsers. This refreshes way faster than IE. I know it will take some time to get use to it but dang!!!
ANd it has some really cool widgets.
LOL Just what I need is more things to learn. LOL I already have to go through and rearrange all my bookmarks so I can find things. LOL
Firefox is only for cool people. ARe you cool enough to handle it?
Uh-oh, now we have to be kewl kids to use firefox? I dunno…
is not just for cool people.
I use it
I’m late to the conversation. What did you just do that only took 3 seconds? Do I want to know?
ROTFLMAO!!!!! It was the roborater
Whew!! My studly vision of Family Man is safe for another day.
3 second would be fantastically impressive for a guy FM’s age and yet very slackerly.
A personal best I might add. π
…so far.
Yep to think about the good old days where it was two minutes. The robo-rater that is. π
I have never had the pleasure of experiencing the Roborater. I’ve tried over and over again, but I just can’t seem to push it over the top and make it work for me. I’m sweating and breathing hard and my heart is pounding, but still I cannot attain Roborater bliss.

That actually sounds quite familiar, FM.
Karma maybe?
Smart ass maybe?
lol.
I keep trying at home with little success; here at curly’s it’s working well. What’s up with that?
good karma? π
Maybe he downloaded the robo-gasmatron.
never rush an orgasm LOL
if I can only figure out how to save the dang thing so I don’t have to cut and past
Bookmark it.
I got it saved and it works!!!!
