It warmed up here while I was gone so most of the ice and snow are gone. It’s kind of funny how visual memory worked — since I didn’t see the snow ‘go’, everything looked kind of wrong when I came home last night.
That’s a weird feeling, when you leave and come back and everything’s changed.
Of course, if it includes a change from cold weather to warmer weather, I’m sure I could handle it. I spent yesterday just wishing I could get all the way warm. And then I started to worry that I was turning into my mother…
At least it’s sunny today. I want to bundle up and take my new camera out for a walk today.
The 10-day forecast says low 40s…still, that’s better than the mid 30s we have today.
I’m really looking forward to it- the museum looks pretty interesting and I want to do the planetarium too. I think we’ll be getting up pretty early to be able to fit everything in. 🙂
Sorry CG. Just think though, this summer I’ll be dying from the heat. I’ve always thought there has to be some mid-point between us where the weather is always nice.
Fall and spring are nice here too, but I think our spring has already started. I’m already seeing some flowers bloom and this is even with temps down in the 30’s at night.
Hope everyone is having a good saturday morning so far!!!
Looks like we are going to have rainy weather and maybe storms today and my body is aching all over. The thrills of being older and having been in all the accidents I have been in. LOL
I’m having a nice morning here, with a cabin full of boys playing video games and checkers…but can someone explain why CBtY can’t get up at 6 to get ready for school, but has no problem getting up at 6 (and waking everyone else up) on Saturday?
Hope your stormy weather passes through quickly. I thought it looked a little overcast in your Obama rally pics from yesterday.
It rained off and on through out most of the rally. That might be part of why I am achy also. I had lots of people take pictures of the shirt I was wearing but you know I forgot to have anyone take my picture or take a picture of our group. LOL
I had straight and gays all coming up saying they loved the shirt. One tv station interviewed me and took a shot of the shirt and I had at least 10 people take pictures and I gave them all the url for my store. LOL
I saw there’s a FP post over at the big orange on the size of the rally (although I think they went with the more conservative 15,000 estimate; wither way, I think it’s a huge crowd for a politician.)
They had people at the gates clicking as people went through. The final number was 21,841. That is the biggest presidential candidate rally this early in a campaign in the US.
I woke up in my own bed so that was a very good start, though I wouldn’t have minded if it had been a later very good start.
Giddy is following me around everywhere I go, wondering just when in the hell I’m going to remember that she hasn’t gotten to go for a walk with me since Monday.
Good morning Andi, ask, CG and Refinish. Think I got everyone.
Hope everyone is fine today. George appears to be feeling better today and I finally go a full nights sleep, so today is starting out good. I’ll have to see how it progresses.
That might be a good idea. I think it’s supposed to hit here after midnight. I always love finding out the next morning that I’ve slept through a tornado warning. Kind of unnerving. 🙂
I’m just glad you got home safe. We’re supposed to get some of RF’s bad weather very late tonight, so I’m sure I’ll be awakened in the middle of the night again.
I am one of the crazy ones who sleeps right through storms and they never bother me. The Diva Dogs on the other hand(especially Bette) always have to wake me to let me know there is one.
Good morning, Andi.
Safely back home?
::looks at self, covered in dog hair::
Yup, back home.
I guess the pack was glad to see mom back – lots of attention?
When I’m gone, they have to stay outside all day; thus, they find my coming home is A Very Good Thing.
I bet it is; I can kind of imagine the scene when they sense, and then realize you’re back.
Good morning ask and Andi!
Andi, your creek looks like my yard does this morning…the kids were ‘skating’ on it last night.

and take some pictures. And then come back and post your homework. 🙂
Good morning!
Saw your reply in last night’s Happy Hour.
Let’s hope for milder conditions by next weekend.

Hi CG.
Are those the highs for the day? We almost got up to 80 the other day. Our 10 day forecast for highs is 60’s and 70’s.
Are you trying to make me cry?
I usually like winter, but with this cough thing, I’m ready for some nice warm moist spring air.
Sorry CG. Just think though, this summer I’ll be dying from the heat. I’ve always thought there has to be some mid-point between us where the weather is always nice.
Unfortunately, we get the swamp-like heat and humidity here in the summer too…fall is the best season of all in PA.
Fall and spring are nice here too, but I think our spring has already started. I’m already seeing some flowers bloom and this is even with temps down in the 30’s at night.

Morning refinish!

LOL That was the way I was as a kid also. It is a teenage thang. LOL

Which one did you pick to wear?
I only do one thing Straight
I had straight and gays all coming up saying they loved the shirt. One tv station interviewed me and took a shot of the shirt and I had at least 10 people take pictures and I gave them all the url for my store. LOL
Cool!

LOL The dogs always know and never let you forget. I am glad you are home safe and sound.

Morning FamilyMan. I am glad you got some sleep and George is feeling better.
Hi Refinish.
I saw on the news about your bad weather. Be careful today, they said it was suppose to be pretty bad in areas.
I guess I should move my car into the garage before it hits. LOL
That might be a good idea. I think it’s supposed to hit here after midnight. I always love finding out the next morning that I’ve slept through a tornado warning. Kind of unnerving. 🙂
Glad the day is looking good for you. It’s cloudy and cool here but it’s not Bridgeport so I’m feeling ahead of the game.
I’m just glad you got home safe. We’re supposed to get some of RF’s bad weather very late tonight, so I’m sure I’ll be awakened in the middle of the night again.
Will you be woken by George or FMom? LOL
FMom for sure. Severe thunderstorms and tornado warning always bother her, and she get to moving around during one.
I am one of the crazy ones who sleeps right through storms and they never bother me. The Diva Dogs on the other hand(especially Bette) always have to wake me to let me know there is one.
Yeah a lot of times I can sleep through the bad weather, but I usually get woken up.
and I haven’t the strength of mind and character to resist it. I expect the Pack to start a three-howl harmony version of ‘Into the Woods’.
See ya.
Have fun!!!!
See ya later Andi and it’s good to have you home!
I’ve got to get ready and start doing some stuff around here.
Have a good day in the pond.
Have fun FamilyMan!!! Check back in as this will be my first official hosting day. LOL
