Ok, it must be my old age, but I have lost track of who we are at war with. Is today’s war meme on Iran or are we back to North Korea with the revelations of false intelligence with them also?
Overlooking the failed theme wars “war on drugs,” “war on terror,” is today maybe back to the Taleban? Or are we really at war with Afghanistan and Pakistan? No, it must be Iran.
Ok, so what about the war in Iraq?
And my last confused question is this… are we winning at any of these?
Y’know…. the last time an army walked around a city’s walls for seven days in silence, then blew their rams’ horns on the seventh day, and the walls came a’tumblin’ down…
You’d think those True Beleiver(tm) types would remember that story.
(Probably irrelevant, but it’s what occurred to me seeing today’s strip…)
