LOL I have been up since 4:30 and went to bed at 1:30. LOL I am still sleepy but could not sleep. I will try and take a short nap later as I will be in meetings today from 2:30 pm until …. LOL The price one pays for being involved and stupid enough to get elected to office in a club.
Yes, I am power mad. LOL Too dang bad there really is no power but I guess I did not realize that becoming President of a Stonewall group automatically put me on the board for the State Caucus.
Good morning Andi, refinish, CabinGirl, curly! Got to snooze late this am. I’m not looking forward to the time change soon to come. I hate getting up in the dark.
Good morning CG (and all)!
The activity director is inadvertently off line this morning.
I have been asked to have you to give a call
to coordinate. Should be a fun day.
Good Morning!!!!The sun isn’t up far enough here to tell what the day will be. LOL I am working on another podcast this am so will be in and out as I do segments.
Hockey watching today, then heading out to pick up my new laptop after they install the extra RAM.
Had dinner with the in-laws last night, but things are not going well over there; some major problems with Son #2. His medication for the schizophrenia seems to have stopped working, and he’s been acting more erratic — including some threatening behaviors. His psychiatrist has already alerted the local police to make sure to send someone trained in dealing with mental illness if they’re summoned — that makes me nervous; I’m trying not to worry. And they’re looking into alternative living situations for him, as they’re considering selling the house and moving into something smaller, like a condo if they can find something accessible. The stress of the situation is really wearing the parents-in-law down — if you folks could keep them in your thoughts I’d appreciate it.
I’m sorry to hear of the difficulties with Son #2’s illness. Hugs and good thoughts to all your extended family. Having had similar experiences with a loved one, I can certainly understand your concern.
Since we’re getting our rainfall now, and not in winter/spring, as per usual, the newly greening hills are a bit disorienting. Not that I’m complaining.
Soes 18-55mm sound like the answer to your question? I am so ignorant. Aiming and framing is one thing that seems to translate from camera to camera but the technology is still a mystery.
Hi Miss Andi!!! What a lovely picture of snow falling. I will say I am glad there is no snow in my area. LOL
And here I was feeling sorry for myself being up so early. I hope you got some sleep last night.
Glad you like the picture. We had short snow squalls all days yesterday but the resulting snow is doomed — it’s going to be almost 40 today and sunny.

Ah, you know you love having all that power. Admit it. 😉

I’m looking forward to great things in TX now that you’re on your way to the top;-)
ROTFLMAO!!! I will try.

Good morning, Andi, and refinish! Another sunny day here…
Got some plans to enjoy the sunshine?
Yep. Pictures later…prepare to be surprised. 🙂
Okay! Should I close my eyes?

Good morning all.
It looks like we’re going to get sunshine today.

Still trying to figure out the new camera and what it does!
You seem to have the aiming and framing aspects down pretty well.
What lens are you using?

Looks to me like you have got a pretty good handle on what it does — it takes gorgeous pictures of flowers.
We like the flowers together!!! 🙂
