Everything here is leveling out finally, and both FMom and I have had a good day so far. It is starting to get warm here now. We’re in the mid 80’s and the sun is bright.

I’ve been better. Seems we’re headed for a few real-life changes here at Chez Cabin. Glad it’s Friay and we have some time to chill before Monday.
I’ve turned on the air condition for the first time this year and I don’t see any going back to the heater. I know I’ll be crying this summer from the heat, but what can you do.
I hope your RL changes aren’t too bad and you get leveled out soon too. Chill or slack are both the same to me, so I hope you have a most slackerly weekend.
Yikes…and I was so excited about turning off the space heater in my office yesterday.
Probably the worst thing about changes is just waiting to see how they’re all going to shake out. Can’t I just get a preview so I know how it all ends? 🙂
I’d say the biggest thing I hate about this time of year is the yellow pollen from the pine trees. It covers everything in site. Plus people that have allergies go through a pretty hard time.
I’m afraid no previews are available. I guess that’s what they say makes life interesting. I’m like you though, I’d like to take some on the interest out and just know what the hell is going on. 🙂
I turned mine on yesterday as well. I don’t think it got much over 60 outside, but the humidity made the funk in the air stick to the rot on my skin. Oh, the horror of it all.
I think that’s what I hate about summer here so much is the humidity. You can’t step outside for a minute without starting to sweat.
Exactly. Humidity is all the proof I need that god hates me.
No kidding. My whole upstairs hallway smells like dog pee. And I thought I had done a pretty good job of cleaning it. Yick.

Mr. Nature’s wayward daughter had another baby today. We found out she was pregnant two weeks ago. Way off topic, I know.

I’m a happy boy. I finally replaced my PDA, which was falling apart. It serves as electronic brain, entertainment device and MP3 player, so now I get to listen to my tunes and my NPR weekend shows on the commute again.
Not that I’d have been doing a lot of listening lately — I’ve been sleeping on the bus. I gotta take that mail order slacking course of FM’s — that is, if I ever get around to it.

I was up at 4:30 a.m.
We drove up the Catalina Highway today — really gorgeous and a lot of snow up at Mt. Lemmon.
It’s a really wonderful area — we’re going to be sorry to be leaving tomorrow.
i’m glad you were able to take that drive. I love the way the vegetation changes as you climb the mountain. My favorite game is to find the last saguaro.
The snow level is supposed to drop to 6500 tonight, quite a change from the earlier part of the week.

We finally went by the Saguaro east — we decided we like the saguaro west better.
the western part of the park is much more interesting.

Glad you are back and that things went well with your brother. My mom had a quintuple by-pass when she was 81 and she has done great — I think it was the quality of the rehab that really made the difference.
I agree with the quality of the rehab. Knowing my brother, I’m just hoping he does it. I have to admit he was in a very good hospital and had very good doctors.
So tomorrow is you last vacation day. So sorry to hear that, but I bet the pack will be happy to see you home.
I like going places but I like coming home almost as much. And yeah, I’m sure the Pack will be delighted to return to their normal sleeping places.
