We had a lovely day today. Mostly we took it easy, although there was a bit of gardening, a walk with Luna, and a bit of water transfer pipe to be run from the bottom storage tank to the one at the top of the drive (otherwise we weren’t going to have much water pressure in a few days, because it’s a gravity feed system).
That line is such a wide-open invitation that it feels almost sinful to take advantage of it. So I guess I’m just too good a person (or more likely too sleepy).
I haven’t yet found a reason to take my blow torch to bed.
But, the pleasant thoughts are welcome (although I can only speak for myself – if blow torches have thoughts, they might not prefer the pleasant kinds, but who can say).
Actually, I really like Mahnamahna. We have in on a very mixed bag CD Imogen made off a friends computer several years ago (along with muppets singing the “Lime in the Coconut” song, and “Good things happen in the dark”, to name a few).
I suppose it’s preferable to “Winchester Cathedral” which was my earworm a few days ago.
Thank you! I have to admit I was a little disappointed when I opened up your diary thinking it would be an Albert-centric one and saw Agent Double-oh-Carrot. 😉
We were on track to spectacularly early spring until yesterday when we had lows in the low 20s. The lows in the 20s are going to continue into the weekend so I don’t know what spring will turn out like.
Good morning and Happy Easter to everyone!
Sympathy for those who must go in today. And Andi and keres; your morning talk is waaay too advanced for the hour 🙂
Hi Teacher Toni! Guess everyone is over on the FP. I’m checking my mom’s household finances for omissions (unpaid bills) as at 89, she is becoming a little absent-minded.
Andi is probably snuggled up with the pack and Jim near the wood stove, as our springlike temps disappeared a few days ago. Flurries again today:(
Morning Andi.

Oh, and the last task, involved me, Imogen, and a blow torch – always lots of fun. 😉

It’s because you’re filled with the Passover spirit.
Of course, you might be less likely to pass over my set-ups when you see the mohel joke I left you on the Dog Blog. 😀
Nope, as you will I see I conceded that your pun passed over mine by miles.
Thanks for the concession, but I know you’re pulling your punches.
I just wanted to send you and your blow torch off to bed with pleasant thoughts.

damned it’s early…and for some ungodly reason…this popped into my head: mahnamahna…
chalk it up to flashbacks…whatever
later…good friday or not, I gotta work.
Bye dada
Damn you dada. I went to bed and woke up with Mahnamahna in my head. 😉
🙂
Hi Olivia.

I put the photo of Albert in the Dog Blog especially for you (the real one, not the chocolate easter bunny one).
Thank you! I have to admit I was a little disappointed when I opened up your diary thinking it would be an Albert-centric one and saw Agent Double-oh-Carrot. 😉
LOL
Very cool photo up top. Lots of lines and angles and shadows and reflections.
Thanks for noticing all that — I thought it was a very nifty scene.
I think it’s neat that you’ve lived there so long and still find something fresh to love about it every day.
I think that a large part of what is so special about living in the woods — it’s literally changes every day.
And now off to be kept waiting by my ENT. See ya.
I really like it too…the beginnings of green on the treea and the reflection in the water are very interesting.
You have more green on your woods than we do.

Good morning Andi, Second Nature, dada! G’night keres!
The lake looks beautifully serene this morning, Andi.
I wish that was today and it was still warm. I’m hoping the dogwood flowers don’t die but I guess that’s unlikely.
Yesterday’s flurries were quite depressing and my blood has apparently already thinned for summer:(
We had a few flurries as well yesterday. April felt like November.
Good morning and Happy Easter to everyone!
Sympathy for those who must go in today. And Andi and keres; your morning talk is waaay too advanced for the hour 🙂
Two days in a row I stop by to find no one! I even showered today.
Oh well, I’ll check back later. Off to finish a radio station survey.
