Not sure what to make of this:
Black Legislators, NRA Meet on Violence
HARRISBURG, Pa. – Members of the legislative black caucus met with a National Rifle Association lobbyist for nearly an hour Monday in an effort to find a solution to the gun violence that has Philadelphia in its throes.
The unusual session, held in the Capitol offices of House Majority Leader Bill DeWeese – a Democrat and an NRA member – comes as the city is losing a resident a day to violence, on pace to surpass its 2006 total of 406 homicides, the worst in nearly a decade.
I was hoping someone from Pennsylvania would know more about this.
How sad – that’s like consulting with Philip Morris about your difficulty breathing.
The NRA will put on whatever show is necessary to prevent any form of gun control. I do hope the black caucus doesn’t fall for their protestations of concern.
Remember “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” Somebody should remind the caucus that a gun has only one purpose – killing with ease, and has never brought anybody peace outside of the grave.
Wish I could attend that meeting.

"But I will not let myself be reduced to silence."
