Now that Valerie Plame Wilson has finally been allowed to tell her story, it’s clear that the Bush administration and their conservative henchmen have done very little besides lie about her. She was covert, she was involved in very sensitive and important intelligence gathering operations, she didn’t recommend her husband for the not-very-fun mission to Niger.
Bush and Cheney burned one of our own, and everyone who’d ever worked with her. They call themselves patriots, and suggest that everyone who opposed their illegal war is a traitor. Do you think those words mean what they think they mean?
