Here’s a Happy Thought:
BAGHDAD — Saudi Arabia and Libya, both considered allies by the United States in its fight against terrorism, were the source of about 60 percent of the foreign fighters who came to Iraq in the past year to serve as suicide bombers or to facilitate other attacks, according to senior American military officials.
This and other methods is what the White House has done to intimidate and bribe the press into acting like idiots and giving the Administration too much leeway on unconstitutional and immoral activities. We need a President who will respect America’s free press, not one who uses whatever is in their power to get their way.
Those snubs which the administration has made it a policy to encourage made it nearly impossible for our reporters to do their job. They have a choice of failing to do their jobs, or not having the access they need to do their jobs.
The president of these United States should be smart enough and confident enough to take hard questions and mature enough to deal civilly with those whom they disagree with.
Oh, making fun of bad spellers again, eh? This is shameful. It also shows no sympathy at all for the demonized turkey, who is depicted as a bumbling, stupid bird lacking any sense, and therefore, easy to kill and eat. That’s an old tactic of fasists or is it fascists. No matter, only a dimwit would not know what I meant.
My wife went vegetarian a couple of years ago, and after this essay, which demeans the great American turkey and lousy spellers, I might do the same.
Press? What press.

The wild Turkey is a very savvy bird. Probably not the best emblem for our nation, given our history.
