Mystified by a Kennedy endorsement

   I was an extra in Bobby. There’s a one-second shot of me during Kennedy’s acceptance speech.

   Yeah – I was really depressed to find RFK Jr., whom I very much respect, endorsing Hillary. I guess that just shows how split good people are over this race. That’s a shame.

   I was discussing in email last night how there are only three excuses for Clinton’s handing the baton of warmongering to Bush:

   1. She’s dumber than an amoeba. (But she isn’t.)
   2. She was simply naive (but that’s impossible to believe, given that she transitioned into and out of office two George Bushes. The Bushes were not unknown quantities. They were extremely well known. She had to know what she was doing. If she didn’t, she’s way too gullible to be president.)
   3. She was playing a political game. Now I understand not voting on certain things, or making votes because you are running for president. But this vote not only killed millions of innocent people in Iraq, the soldiers of other countries, and of course, our own brave men and women who deserved far better than to be sent to a region to protect oil interests. This vote also sunk our economy. That she could be so ambitious as to do this to good people scares the hell out of me, and that’s why I don’t see how I could support her candidacy in any way. I can’t think of how she can make up for this.

   But I hope someone can talk me into voting for her before November, if she’s our nominee. I just don’t know how to forgive her this one. Such a calculated vote is just horrific, in my opinion.
