How many lies and distortions can you count?
Al Giordano does a nice take down of Carville’s appearance here with Diane Sawyer but I think he misses one point. Carville is probably right about one thing. The RFK flap made is hard for Clinton to end this campaign on a positive note. She may get one good news day out of Puerto Rico but that’s all she has left. First she’ll lose the fight to seat all the Supers from MI and FL, then she might win Puerto Rico, but that will be immediately followed by two more Obama wins in Montana and South Dakota. There isn’t really any time left for Clinton to change the lasting narrative of this campaign or to avoid a bitter and lasting aftertaste. In that sense, the RFK flap was not helpful. But blaming Obama for this is beyond the lowest common denominator. There’s nothing common about it. Only snakes are that low.
