For those who are wondering if Hillary has gone bonkers and keep making one outrageous demand after another and keep moving goalposts after each demand is found to be irrelevant or implausible, I have a possible answer.
The tactic is to keep Hillary from becoming irrelevant and less newsworthy as Barack Obama gets nominated.This charade will continue up to the convention when Hillary will find another way to keep herself in the news.
This is not different from Joe Lieberman’s ploy during the Connecticut Senate Race.Then too Joe would keep making one outrageuos statement after another till he lost to Ned Lamont.Even after his loss, he kept himself current by posing as an independent with Republican support.
The possibility of a Hillary morphing into an independent candidate a la Joe cannot be ruled out.If that happens an McCain wins, Hillary will pick up enough IOU’s from the Republicans to contest the 2012 elections as an independent.
