Do you have a follow up to the Michelle Obama tape? I checked in at No Quarter this morning and it seemed like LJ was taking some flak for a bit of a letdown.
There were a few comments looking forward to Clinton’s 2012 run after Obama’s 2008 inability to do the job only Clinton can do. How is that described? Missing the forest for the trees?
Maybe Arthur knows and will chastise us about it.
First we heard he had the tape, then that he had only SEEN the tape, then that he had only HEARD from five people about the tape, then that the five people themselves only HEARD about the tape…

I’ve heard a rumor that Larry Johnson and SusanHu are auditioning for the role of Sonny the Cuckoo Bird from the “Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs” commercials.
Would that be like the old two people in a horse suit thing, where one person’s the front and the other person’s the rear? And would they have to flip for who gets to be the ‘horse’s ass’?

I didn’t know he was the inspiration for Doctor Teeth! I think “Doctor Teeth and the Electric Mayhem” is one of the best band names ever.
It is one of the best of Dr. John in my opinion.

I came over today from a link at Balloon Juice about the Michelle/Obama “whitey” video. (And I found Balloon Juice last week through a link at the Daily Kos.)
I really hope you are right about what she really says on that video and that this rumor can finally be put to rest. I didn’t know anything about Larry Johnson or No Quarter before the last two weeks and now I wish I’d never heard of him. Taylor Marsh and talkleft are bad enough, his site is absolutely toxic.

There was also a recommended diary yesterday on the Great Orange Satan referencing BooMan on the Michelle Video teapot tempest. I don’t remember if there were links or not. I suppose BooMan could take a look at his server logs to see where the traffic was being referred from if he was so inclined.
I see the whitey-gate controversy is now being reported on by Harper’s — not as an actual story, but as a story about the smear attempts.
