I’m headed to Austin, Texas tomorrow afternoon. I haven’t been to Texas since 1993. I’ve never been to Austin but I hear a lot of good things about it and I’m looking forward to the trip. If the mood moves you and you like this blog, maybe you can chip in a few bucks to help me pay for the plane and hotel?

In any case, looking at the agenda I think it will be the best convention yet. The first was fun as hell and involved a lot of blogreaders. In Chicago last year it had morphed into more of a professional activist convention and people were really serious (except for Bob Geiger, Justin Krebs, me, and a few other Merry Pranksters). But this year it is really well organized and people are serious about taking power back for the first time, really, since 1994. It’s going to be hard work, but there are legions of dedicated, serious people that desperately want the chance to improve our country.
