My Prediction:
We will all be bald by November 4, after pulling our hair out in frustration with the corrupt and biased corporate media.
my advice, limit your consumption.
I predict a collective media orgasm over Bill Clinton’s comments today.
Booman,
I hear ya, but I don’t think avoiding the corporate media is the solution. If we just turn a blind eye to them we won’t know what they are up to. And meanwhile, their bullshit spin will be framing the politicial conversation in the nation. We’ve got to read their shit, and fight back against it.
I agree. My wife was asking me why I kept going back to the talking heads on the networks and cable news(and complaining about them) when I could have left it on C-SPAN. Millions of people get their information this way, you have to follow it to understand why they believe and vote the way they do.
I don’t know — one could argue that the best example we could set is to ignore them and hope they eventually wither away.

Go there to look at convention video and you’re told you can only do it on Windows or Mac. I thought the Dems were supposed to be the tech-savvy ones who know how to use the Inter Tubes. Say goodbye to a few disgruntled users of Linux and other open source software. This degree of cluelessness doesn’t bode well for communications policy by the Dems.
but isn’t Linux a yurpian system?…runs….hides….
Maybe they were just targeting the 99% of users who own fully-functioning computers.

Maybe. Wouldn’t want anybody trying to watch the convention on a supercomputer or anything.
My prediction?
Whatever it is, it’ll be a Good Thing For John McSame.
My prediction: Hillary’s speech will be part sweetness and light and part ferocious attack dog. John McCain is going to regret his recent ads. Her attack may consolidate his far-right base that would never vote for a Democrat anyway. Independents, however, will see him for what he is.
From your lips……
Either way, this speech will define the remainder of her political career.
And if the shoe was on the other foot, if Clinton/Biden were the ticket and Barack Obama was the one giving the speech tonight, I would be saying the exact same thing about him.
The birthday girl is going off line for the rest of the evening.
And trust, I will not be watching the Queen. I’ll have to read about it later.
Happy Birthday, and many happy returns. Enjoy!
