One reason Sara Palin was picked was because the others,like Kay Bailey Hutchison,Joe Lieberman and other Republicans did not want the job.They saw clearly that Admiral McCain was going to hit the reef soon and did not want to be on a sinking ship.
Another reason could be purely financial.Without the fundamentalist Christian money, McCain’s campaign would have to depend on Federal money which would be totally inadequate to take on the well oiled Obama Machine.
I think McCain has had it,Sara or no Sara.
