Good to see Joe Biden mixing it up with the Cheeseheads and giving Philly fans their due as the aggressive thugs that they are. I think I just won my fantasy game by one tenth of a point when Bernard Berrian got tackled for a seven-yard gain instead of a nine-yard gain. If so, it’s a miracle that was also aided by the injury of Tom Brady. All football fans should be sorry to see Brady go down and lose a season of his prime.
In any case, Biden asked the people of Green Bay if they want more of McSame:
“Name me a single issue that affects your life — jobs, health care, education, energy — where McCain and Palin disagree with the president,” Biden told a crowd of about 700. “If you liked the last eight years, you’ll like the next four years of a McCain-Palin administration, because there is no fundamental change.”
Only a masochist, or someone in the top income bracket suffering from sociopathic lack of empathy, would want a McCain-Palin administration. From Wisconsin, Biden traveled to Des Moines:
DES MOINES, IA — Returning to what he called his “second political home,” Biden today echoed Obama’s refrain questioning whether Republicans think the American people are stupid enough to believe they offer change.
“I find it absolutely fascinating that John McCain and the Republican Party are claiming the mantle of change now,” he said during a rally at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. “After eight years of abject failure in our foreign policy. After eight years of turning their back on average Americans. After eight years of accumulating debt that is drowning the next generation, all of the sudden John and his Republican running mate are going to change the culture of Washington?”
Biden will appear at Missouri University tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Sarah Palin is still afraid to campaign on her own without her puppet-master McCain pulling her strings. No courage.
Yep, one freakin’ tenth of a point. Let’s hope Obama’s margin of victory is far greater.
Stupid Brady injury, and more importantly, stupid Vikings.
But even more importantly, stupid media circus.
I’m still wondering what is up with the Defensive player. I have Justin Tuck and he had a sack, and I’m not getting a point for it. But, yeah, right now it looks like we got you beat by .1%.

Mayor Palin Charged Victims for Their Own Rape Kits

Itwould appear that Sarah Palin has a problem with Rape. In addition to
not supporting the availability of Abortion for victims of Rape, Mayor
Sarah Palin, Maverick, Fiscal Conservative, also had citizens of
Wasilla pick up the bill for their own forensics tests. Hat Tip
Americablog.
The Frontiersman / May 23, 2000
Gov. Tony Knowles recently signed legislation protecting victims of
sexual assault from being billed for tests to collect evidence of the
crime, but one local police chief said the new law will further burden
taxpayers.
While the Alaska State Troopers and most municipal police agencies
have covered the cost of exams, which cost between $300 to $1,200
apiece, the Wasillapolice department does charge the victims of sexual
assault for the tests.
Wasilla Police Chief Charlie Fannon does not agree
with the new legislation, saying the law will require the city and
communities to come up with more funds to cover the costs of the
forensic exams.
Words don’t adequately describe this offense.
This happened when Palin was Mayor of Wasilla. They were charging rape
victims to get the kit to record the evidence of their own rape.
I have NEVER heard of anything like this, ever, anywhere else. Ever.
…And not enough indecent words to describe my outrage over this!
Victimizing the victim is a game played by bullies. We can hope that the sunlight of discovery will burn her like a late-to-the-coffin vampire.
I can hear it now, the VP debates, Biden with his opening statement….
“Ladies and gentlemen, let me first say the nation owes a debt of gratitude to that great patriot and dear friend of mine we all know and love, John McCain. And I must commend his equally prestigious and accomplished choice for vice president, Sarah Palin. As a matter of fact my good friend Joe Lieberman was telling me just the other day…..”
If only we could all claim per diem to live at home and/or fly our children around a huge state at the expense of taxpayers.
adding that this will be front page news in the WaPo mañana.
“puppet-master McCain”?? You give him far too much credit. He’s dancing to his handlers’ tunes and Rove is conducting the chorus.
Keep on pounding like this.
I love Ride or Die Joe.
