Our media seems to care more about the important stuff than they do the presidential political horse race for a change. But don’t worry, I’m sure this anomalous result is only temporary, and they’ll will return to their usual programming shortly.

Must clearly be George W. Bush … (bit of humor)
One power, and one only, fulfills all the criteria which have been historically completed — the Roman Catholic Church. The Protestant reformers were absolutely correct in their identification of the beast of Revelation 13 as the antichrist power and their identification of that power as the Papacy.
Oops … I guess the anti-christ changes throughout the ages, still I thought George met all criteria!
"But I will not let myself be reduced to silence."
Spot on, Oui, as usual. Great post!
On the topic of the bailout, the recent article by Chambers Joihnson is highly pertinent.http://www.antiwar.com/engelhardt/?articleid=13520 Seems like the USA is right on schedule for bankruptcy courtesy of the horrendous expenditures of the Defense Dept. and the growing number of foreign military engagements.
Despite all the money consumed on matters military, current inventories demonstrate that our equipment is older and not up to top speed. We spend so much for so little and who suffers? Just our combat troops. What a truly fucked up system Bush and Co have put together.
“Morning Joe” right back to the debate spin, as in “Who are you gonna believe, me, or your lying eyes?” Tweety, Joe, Pat Buchanan and Mika B. all agreed that Obama should have “done better,” that “McCain won” that Obama “didn’t hit on economic themes like he should have”…… Forget that all the debate polling showed at least a 10% win for Obama.
I think I predicted this.
