I was looking at a video of John McCain at a rally in Wisconsin where he tells a lady that Barack Obama is not an Arab and is a decent family man. After I looked at the video, I read Josh Marshall’s take on this video and went back to see it again.
Josh says that if you look at McCain’s body language during this encounter, he is looking down and avoiding eye contact with his audience like he did with Barack Obama at his debate. This says either that McCain is uncomfortable saying that Barack Obama is a decent family man or he simply does not want you to know that he is faking sincerity.
After this incident,it was revelaed that a crowd in Bethlehem,PA, let loose with racial epithets and outright hatred directed at Obama and black people with no one contradicting them.Sara Palin,if she is following McCain’s direction would have received instructions on how to contain this hatred but is apparently unaware of McCain’s own position.
That is very hard to believe.I think the two are in cahoots playing the age-old Good Cop/Bad Cop routine.
