Hot dogs in ten packs, buns in eights.
solution: don’t eat crap.
But I know what you’re saying.
this is not a bun conspiracy as many think….its a dog conspiracy.
the dog always gets the last 2 hot dogs.
i heard a lovely and interesting story last night….my girlfriends son got in from thailand where he has been living for a few years…he is a private contractor in iraq….i have told some of the details before of his adventures in iraq….he originally went to iraq with kbr then went out on his own and has become really successful, mostly selling water purification systems, porta potties (specially designed for middle easterners) and sunflower oils among other things….i asked him what election night was like over there….he said thailand was crazy for obama….there were vendors in the streets selling bangkok for barack tshirts and parties and fundraisers everywhere for months…he was in the air en route from dubai to baghdad the night of the election when cnn came on and announced obama won…he broke down crying as many on the plane did…people cheered and celebrated and congratulated each other….when he landed in baghdad he got a lot of requests from iraqis to take his picture with them….he is a tall skinny black guy from america and for some reason everyone thinks he is related to obama somehow….he said overall the feeling in iraq is one of shock that obama was elected….like people just assumed mccain would win because the republicans would steal the election, as they did twice in the past…he said he didnt see any celebrating….just people expressing real surprise….he says things are still crazy in iraq….dangerous…although he did go to a trade show in which he was the only american contractor and one of only 3 foreign contractors (one was dutch, one was chinese)….he even took his wife which surprised me….so i guess it was safer than in the past….he said basically baghdad is quiet because its like a walled city….they separated the crazy people who want to kill each other into neighborhoods with walls and its difficult to get around and just kill people like they used to…a lot of his work is with the kurds and he says they still want to be separate from the rest of iraq…in fact they not only want part of turkey but part of iran and syria too….the more secular people he does business with and is friends with really hate the more fundy people and blame them for all the problems….everybody blames everybody else….these people just really hate each other on so many different levels…they would have had civil war long before 2003 if it wasnt for saddam….not that anyone wants him back…one guy said if he were in charge he would get rid of all the american military and all the iraqi police and hire an army of ugandans to keep the peace….iraqis are afraid of ugandans….they believe idi amin kept order by eating people and making people afraid they would be eaten….much like saddam kept order thru fear.
lots of other interesting tidbits i will write about later.
Thanks for the tidbits. I always enjoy first hand accounts –or second hand, in this case.
my car runs fine, until I turn on the heater and then it won’t idle properly.
some cars have a vacuum-powered valve to control the flow of hot water through the heater core. if that valve is bad it might cause a vacuum leak when turned on.
thanks.. i appreciate the info.
I like Bourbon, but it don’t like me.
have you tried ice?
For his drink or his head?
Yeah-I got one. Sorry, but it’s on the serious side. How come not a word re the role of the Rating Companies?
Watched Now- PBS show and sat there screaming at the TV!
I’m too much of a maverick to have any problems.
Yes. So far nothing has changed.
I own the largest birdhouse in New York State.
Downloading software. I’ve been trying to download a program to work inside my Cakewalk Sonar. I’ve been given all sorts of codes and for some reason none of them work. Frustrating. Now I wait for a week until they answer my email with worthless information that won’t solve the problem. Grrrrh.

My front tooth is coming apart. I just paid $400 to get it repaired a couple of months ago and I can feel it starting to come undone. Not helpful.
