It’s good to see the Flying Spaghetti Monster getting some downticket votes.

Wow. Three new JFK assassination books are out, and all of them are useless horseshit.
Ramen to that!
Rep. Hilda Solis for Secretary of Labor
Just saw that and I’m thrilled.
me too, she’s one of my few heroes on the hill.
Another vote for Pastafarians.
it’d be better to see Hopey McChange drop Pastor McBigot.
but I guess that’s too much change, eh?
ain’t gonna happen brendan…Obama defends choice of evangelical pastor:
it would seem his definition of a “wide range of viewpoints” is substantially at odds with mine.
yeah, i saw that.
my response is “ok, let’s invite david Duke too.”
I don’t think that’s unreasonable, because America needs to “”come together,” even when there’s disagreement on social issues. “That dialogue is part of what [Obama’s] campaign is all about.””
NAMBLA deserves a place at the table too. So does Stormfront.
Right now though I just want to throw a shoe at the guy. what a douche. i hope the gay people stage a march or otherwise embarrass him.
A wide range of viewpoints? Then can we expect the Muslim viewpoint and the Arab viewpoint to be represented along with all the others in the range?
Yeah, that’s what I thought.
Oh – yeah, and how about the gay Arab and gay Muslim viewpoints? That’s what I’D like to see!
Apparently “Inclusion” means not excluding people who actively exclude people. Or something like that.
Plus, Warren’s abortion = Holocaust comments, that’s not an attack on women, per se. Afterall, abortion, like gay sex, is an act. That it’s only women who can get pregnant or gays that have intimate relations with each other is irrelevant. One can hate the act without hating the actor.
Effing Hypocrite.
yes yes yes….i mean yes….i agree with everyones horrified reaction to having this homophobe say a prayer for the country….inclusion…..i i just cant help thinking back to when we were trying to get trannies included in the human rights initiative and bill…..a lot of gays didnt want them included….i was pissed at that…..maybe we will all learn a lesson here…..
well then maybe not
but hey its 80 degrees here in florida and really sunny and fuck it im gonna go look for a house tomorrow.
i swore i would never live in the south again but dammit its warm here.
In a middle of a recession a barrel of oil was $147 dollars a barrel.Isn’t that strange, unless oil speculators were running the price up. And notice now that the dollar is weakening that no on is putting their “money” in oil as a hedge against inflation/falling dollar as we were told in July.
Well today a barrel of oil is $110 dollars cheaper than it was in July.

The speculators ran the price up because of the Enron changes to regulation. Now that the price is down all the talk to fix this has stopped. The position on futures must be limited mostly to wet barrels of oil, not banks taking a position on the dollar.
If we don’t get this fixed, the price will go back up as fast or faster than it went down as soon as demand tries to recover.
