It’s another slow news day. Tomorrow is the sixteenth anniversary of G.H.W. Bush’s Christmas Eve pardoning of the Iran-Contra crew. Do you think Dubya will repeat that travesty? Will he do it tomorrow, or later on? Who will be on the list?

Get ready.
I’m tired of reading the phrase “__ speaks volumes.”
I’m weary, by the time I finish reading the paper these days, of the phrase “___ sends a message”, or “___ sends a clear signal.”
Barack Obama’s choice of Rev. Rick Warren to say a five minute prayer before Obama is sworn in as the next president of the United States doesn’t send me a message, Morse code, or smoke signals.
Rick Warren Invocation Doesn’t “Speak Volumes” To Me
Here are some.
why should i make myself even angrier than i already am by contemplating whether the criminal son of a criminal acts in his typically criminal way?
I hope he pardons John Wayne Gacy and Ed Gein, just to piss people off.
it’s going be a long list, and l suspect it won’t happen until he’s walking out the door jan. 20.
start with harriet miers, josh bolton, and karl, throw in a bit dash of abu and rummy, a sprig of yoo, stir in a bit feith, scooter, addington, etal…perhaps even cheney…it’ll be quite the olio. he’ll cover all the bases.
the man has no scruples, he’s going to cya on the way out the door.
Let’s not forget Abu Gonzales, and the five justices whose crime sent us down this cursed road: Rehnquist(now beyond bush help), Thomas, Scalia, O’Connor, and Kennedy.
May they all know true justice someday.
I still stand by my prediction: Pardons for Meiers and Gonzales, but not for Rove.
What do you think of this pardon?
