   With my Palinized father-in-law, who claims (via Faux) that Palin didn’t do any of that shopping that was widely hyped, but rather had all the stuff bought for her without her permission.

   If anyone had a link showing that she participated willingly in the shopping spree, I’d gladly mail it to him.

   From his reaction, Palin was definitely the story of the year.

     If they bought those clothes without her permission, did they also do the alterations without her permission (you don’t get perfect fit as it comes off the rack, at least some of those clothes had to be altered, bet on it), and did they put them onto her body every day without her permission?

       She is teeny, tiny and off the rack clothes will fit her.

       HEy, they claimed they were returning most of the clothes–you can’t alter them and then return them!

         It’s not a question of size. Everyone needs things altered from time to time if they are to fit as well as those clothes fit them.

         As for returning most of the clothes, that is dead dishonest whether you alter them or not.

           Of course it is, but that’s what they claimed.

           And remember, a bunch of them were purchased for her kids, and for her husband (tens of thousands of dollars).

           I am outright amazed that she has survived incredibly bad press and the ugly, devicive nature of her rallies and is still considered so viable for 2012.

           I am STUNNED that there is anyone in this country with whom she has any credibility at all. I am deeply alarmed that she is considered viable for anything but PTA president.

   First we read a description of the “wanker” who distributed “Barack the Magic Negro” and wondered aloud how desperate and stupid the remaining REpublicans are these days.

   Then we returned to this forum, and begain re-discussing the remaining faithful who think Palin is a viable candidate in the future.

   It’s an amazingly desperate group of people who remain faithful to the far-right!
