She got a job as the Stanford Cardinal? Man, they’ll let ANY clown wear that mascot suit.
nice pic. where’d you find that?
Stanford is a surprisingly conservative place.
And Berkeley ain’t what it used to be.
she’ll be a nice addition to the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace, which already has rumsfeld.
however, much like rummy’s appointment, it has not been without controversy.
I’m guessing that’s exactly what she’ll do. The Hoover will be glad to have her and the poli sci dept will be glad to let them.
well, no. But that’s just one alum’s opinion.
There’s no doubt that we have to let her come back. I hope she hides in Hoover Tower and writes her memoirs rather than bothering students.
at least we don’t have to give her back the job as Provost, where her replacement is a big improvement.
Q: what do peter pace, tommy franks, l. paul bremer, george tenet, tony blair, paul wolfowitz, irving kristol, and norman podhoretz have in common other than being cheerleaders and BushCo™ sycophants for the war in iraq?
A: chimpy’s given them all medals of freedom.
tony ‘poodle boy’ blair, got his today, along with colombian president alvaro uribe and former australian PM john howard.
orwell is laughing his ass off somewhere.
Maybe Blair can sell it and get his teeth fixed. That would “improve the lives of citizens” who have to look at him.
OMG! And to think, I almost WENT to Stanford!
EEeeeeeewwwwwww!
The girl I fancied most in high school went there, as did her older sister.
I went to Berkeley. It was close though. I have a relative by marriage who went to Standford when she was provost. His impression of her was that she was kind of weird. And he’s – or rather was, prior to Dubya – a Republican. He’s cured now, thank heaven, and after the Sarah Palin debacle, it might be permanent.
This is a woman who has significant errors in her curriculum vitae–the “bible” of academic credentials–and blames her secretary, or someone, for her own negligence. Her management credentials are abyssmal. She is the ultimate example of Republican tokenism.
Let’s see. Roger Clemons sits in front of a Senate committee and lies under oath about steroid use in Major League baseball. So the U.S. Attorney considers this such a worrisome development that he convenes a grand jury to consider perjury charges against Clemons.
But when Brad Schlozman sits in front a Congressional committee and lies about his politicizing of the Department of Justice, the U.S. Attorney says, “Ehhhh….Fuck it. No problem here”.
Damn….who would have thought something like that could ever happen in Washington!!
