That is so interesting how just on Friday, a co-worker and I were talking about the music of John Martyn – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Martyn_(musician) – and somewhat relatedly the subject of Moondog’s music came up.
I had never heard of him. The context of the conversation was how some very talented musicians sometimes never get the fame and wealth – their notoriety coming primarily from their indie nature.
I must listen to more of this man’s music.
