But here are the latest puppy vids from keres to start your day off right.
We gotta have a link to this video too.
I thought I linked to all of them. D’oh. Stupid early morning…
Well since you’re taking them back to the diary, I guess people will be able to see them all … because everybody at Boo should see them all or their lives will be empty and incomplete!!!!
See them all, twice! They are really cute.
Gosh, that’s a cute video. I’m such a sap that I always feel sorry for mama dogs when their pups are given away. Whatever will Luna do without that hourly wrestling match on her tummy?
Fortunately, they can’t be given away until they’re weaned. Plus, Luna looks more than ready for the match to be called in her favor. 🙂
I love how she just looks at them and patiently lies down to go to sleep.
Yep. They’ll turn four-weeks-old this Friday, at which point I’ll start introducing them to the joys of solid food. They usually catch on fast.
Also, this Friday, they’ll be making their social debut. Along with some helpers from my Delta Pet Partners group we’ll be taking them to the nursing home that Luna and I visit weekly.
We’ve invited the press along (OK, one paper, but it’s the big one in Tasmania). We’re trying to get more people with dogs interested in becoming volunteers. We have twice yearly assessments and one is coming up in March. Hence the staged “event”.
Well, you should post that on YouTube for us. We can finally see the heretofore faceless keres! 😉
Uh, no. I like being faceless on the internets. Besides, I once posted a photo of our Delta group here at BooMan – obviously, I’m the one next to Luna. So, now you’ll just have to try and find it. :p
bah. Seeing your lovely bathrobe was enough for me. 😉
Why thank you, I’m wearing it right now.
It’s here
And yes, I always wear a cap. You would too if you lived under the hole in the ozone layer.
Aw, that’s cute! But I see you’re not showing that happy slice of tummy like when you were a young lass.
Probably because that “slice of tummy” is now more like the whole pie.
And just because everyone asks, the dog to the left of us is a Leonberger (named Sarah). And yes, they really are huge.
I was wondering about that dog, but I’ve never heard of a Leonberger. It sounds like they guy who works at the deli.
It’s a fairly recent breed. The mayor of the town of Leonberg in Germany wanted to breed a dog that looked like the lions on the town’s coat of arms. Wikipedia link here.
I like the description as a “beast-like yet dainty” dog. People often use those words about me.
It’s really a spectacular dog, though.
Yeah, I thought that turn of phrase was pretty funny.
People tend to shorten it to just “(female) dog” when referring to me. To which I reply, “thank you”.
*itches rule the world.
Wow! The big gal in the middle is certainly a serious snacker! What a patient mom!
That’s the one we call GARGANTUA, with love, of course.
I’ll have to view those videos later, away from my evil overlords.
Me, I’ll have to see them much later — like when high-speed internet comes to our rural township in 2020 or so, or I move.
We had dial-up until recently. Now we have DSL through Netzero, our dial-up ISP. It’s faster than dial-up, but cheaper than true broadband. You may want to check it out. It actually comes in over the phone line with a DSL modem that they give you to put on the line.
Thank you, boran! Plenty of folks here might be interested.
It’s very nice to see Andi’s beautiful image up top, CG. Thanks!
(Note to Andi: still awaitin’ the upgrade. Have yet to receive upgrade and/or dentures from said fairy godmother.)
Hi ww! It’s good to see you around these parts!
Sorry I missed you, CG.
Sorry I missed you, WW. And really sorry your fairy godmother is holding out on you. 🙁
Well, there are lots of claims on her time.
Hope you’re enjoying a good day today. We’ve got horizontal snow here.
Morning everyone (my morning anyway). I’m glad you are enjoying the puppy videos. I, otoh, awoke to poo-y puppies. They tend to do their poos at night, but last night decided to lie and walk in their poos as well – hence the smell and all the orange patches on feet and fur.
With any luck I’ll learn how to edit (again – video production used to be part of my job) and put together some better clips (as opposed each YouTube being one continuous single take).
We are Michigan residents playing ‘possum in Florida until the ice melts in our very rural, very beautiful Northern Michigan home. We watch USGS “Real Time Stream Data” to monitor the ice melt, and GoogleEarth to see as our long driveway clears. Spring will come.
That is very smart. I’ve visited the YooP in winter many times (Sault Ste. Marie) and it ain’t fit for man nor beast.
Florida sounds like a plan this time of year, especially if the YooP is the alternative. 🙂
I love your creative use of stream flows and google earth to see when it’s time to head home.
but it’s got no snow and it’s even in the 40s (though it’s not staying there).

This is gorgeous, Andi. There’s always a definitive music to your photos — a wonderful rhythm.
Even in the quiet times of the year, the woods have such a pretty palette.
Yet Another Puppy YouTube.
Heavy sigh.
That is funny! I kept waiting for the heavy sigh….
It’s hilarious to see the quest for the perfect nipple. Does one serve chocolate milk?
More likely to be liversnap flavored milk.
That is so funny. And the way she shifts herself at the end, and all puppies just move right along with her.
I bet Luna will be delighted when it’s time for solid food. 🙂
I actually fed them some very finely chopped beef last night. Squeak was all for it, the other two just made a mess of it.
I’ll start giving them some solid food everyday from now on and see how we go with that. They’re dogs, it’s food, usually there’s no problem getting the two together.
Landseer pups are also cute. If you want them to keep their tongues in, you must use your hand.
And if you want to keep the drool in?
Yes, Landseers are gorgeous dogs. It would be nice to see more of them.
Check the Newfs on this page: http://www.newfiedog.com/
You can really see how closely related Newfs and Pyrs are in the Landseer pups.
Of course, Pyrs came first. 😉
awwww those are so cute 🙂
Check out this Choco-Newf:
Well … this one kind of reminds me of Phil the Gorilla at the zoo.
Of course I was a big fan of Phil …
In that link you posted above, the little guy with the christmas bib is adorable. His eyes …
was there a ‘son of’ Phil?
I don’t think so. Phil died quite a while ago. But he remained around – stuffed. I’m not sure if he’s still there. They re-did the whole primate/ape/orangatan section and made it much friendlier for the inmates. They might have thought Phil was inappropriate in the new digs.
OMG! That looks just like one of my old bosses!
You really need to move The Story of Edgar Sawtelle up on your reading list. One of the main character’s name is Gar.
So noted.
I just spent the last two hours making pie for our friend Martine’s birthday. Another friend is flying up to Canburra to attend the party, so I’m sending it (well packed) with her.
Best one yet. I love all the maneuvering. And Luna trying to get them to settle down — just like a Mom, always trying to make the kids sit still.
As in there’s one whole edit, and music!
Here>
A million thanks … these videos are wonderful.
I nominate this in the best documentary category 🙂
Pretty soon Luna and the puppies are going to be such big stars you won’t be able to afford their fees.
I thought doing all their laundry was bad enough but I have to keep fielding calls from their agents.
They’re gonna big, I tell ya! BIG!
Never expected the freckled belly. :0)
They start out pink and then develop pigment in their skin. Pys are pinto skinned with both pink and grey skin under their white hair, and even inside their mouths.
Different angle
Second Nature may love the heads of babies but I love those wonderfully fat bellies of puppies. Please give it a nice scratch for me. 🙂
Will do. Good night all.
Good night! (Did I miss you already?)
Night. And … scratch, scratch, scratch.
