   when did it hit, and what were the onset symptoms like?

   i woke up a little achey today with the beginning of a sore throat, and I’m praying it’s the dairy I ate late last night

     Onset was a general feeling of stupidness combined with aches and pains and then a headache.  Everyone else got sicker faster than me, so I thought I was going to get away with a milder version.

     But this morning I couldn’t even lift my head out of bed without feeling seasick, an the headache is out of control.

   Beware of the cough.  I’m going on three weeks waiting for it to totally clear up.  It’s frustrating as hell.

   Hang in there.  It just takes awhile.

   Booman-

   Any thoughts about Pat Toomey deciding to run against Specter in 2010? I think Specter should either switch parties or just retire because Toomey should be able to defeat him in a closed primary this time. But Toomey won’t win a general against a decent Democrat.

     Here in PA, we’ve learned never to write-off Specter’s chances.  But the Obama/Clinton primary caused so many moderates to re-register as Dems that it will very hard for Arlen to hold off a primary challenge from his right.  He could try to do a Lieberman and run as an independent, but the Dems won’t cooperate by not offering a top notch challenger.

   Get lots of rest, drink mucho water, try a lemon or two if you are up to it.  Don’t worry about anything, that’s an order. Just get relaxed and well.

   Some of the flus going around can knock you out for a week or more. Just give in to it and rest. Try not to get too upset about what’s happening in politics. It will still be in trouble when you feel better. 😉
