My first reaction to your “serious” question was, Doh, of course he can. But then, when I really thought about it seriously, it gave me chills because that would mean he could arrange the killing of… almost anyone. Well, hopefully, not just anyONE, if you know what I mean… <shudder> …because if he could then, he woulda already… right? But, maybe not… he’s just biding his time, like a spider in a web, waiting for just the right moment… no, no, NOOOOOOO!

that is an interesting read. Can’t help but think that all these guys had an agenda, none of which included protected America’s homeland.
Was Cheney a mock matador in his previous life, because he’s sure out there waving the red flag and stickin it to the bulls in the pen on torture? Difference is no one except Limbaugh sheep are cheering in the peanut gallery.
Does he have a Libyian connection, well he probably has a helluva rolledex but now that he’s demonstrated that he can’t protect the underlings who perform for him I wonder how many are answering their phones. After all, what’s in it for anyone to follow Cheney into madness?
The question, of course, is not DOES Cheney have such a network, but how mappable is it?
If Darth is out there talking to people and getting things done, his network is making noise. Then it can be mapped.
And no, I don’t think Cheney alone has the connections to get ANYONE assassinated. People in power started pushing back against him years ago.
But some prisoner in Libya? Yeah.
