It’s got to really do a number on you when it’s happening, because, frankly, it doesn’t look bad at all when they’re doing it to Mankow. But he caved KNOWING he could yell uncle (or throw the cow) at any time, and without weeks of prior abuse.

I’m getting out the old magneto to hook up on the kid when she comes home from college to find out how things are going at school, although I guess I could hold her head under the water in the pool to get the information. American as apple pie.
He thinks that President Obama took away the torture that said wingnut apparently supported. I pointed out that the President was only upholding the laws against torture that Bush had broken. Even he had to acknowledge the point. But then the wondered why we ever signed onto the Geneva conventions. Sigh.
