If Abu Zabaydah was ‘not Number 3 [in al-Qaeda], not a partner, not even a fighter,’ then what was he and what kind of information could he have possibly provided? Wasn’t he supposed to have provided the information (his alias) that led to the capture of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and the arrest of Jose Padilla? it makes for sad reading seeing how the guy has seizures, can’t talk, has shrapnel in his head, his left leg doesn’t work, and he’s missing a testicle for some reason, and is obsessed with getting access to the writing and poetry he’s done since he was 16 years old (and which the government will not return to him).
The policies of the Bush White House and the opinions of Dick Cheney become more of a disgrace to this country every day.
What the hell were people even thinking to send this crew to the White House, to begin with?
They really believed they were fit to conquer and run the entire world? They really believed there would be a permanent republican majority?
They thought Bush would be a permanent president?
