Beck: Obama Hates White People

Well, we now know who are the racists in this country. It’s not white men. They never commit any racist acts. No, the racists in America are Latina women who have the nerve to think they might make better judges than white men like KKK loving Senator Jeff Sessions and, according to Glenn Beck, our duly elected President, Barack Obama:

For those of you who have no desire to listen to the advanced thinkology of a former alcoholic and certified loon, here’s a brief description of the relevant comments Beck made on Fox and Friends yesterday:

During a guest appearance on ‘Fox & Friends’ Tuesday, Fox News Channel Commentator Glenn Beck said he believes President Obama is a racist. He said the President has “a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.” […]

“I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people. He has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist,” said Beck.

Hey, Glenn, whose white culture we talking about? German Americans? Irish Americans? Jewish Americans? Italian Americans? WASPS? Mormons? Or members of such upstanding organizations such as the Klu Klux Klan and the Aryan Nations? Or would my “liberal” culture which identifies with none of the above qualify, one which values friends of all races, ethnic groups, nationalities and religions qualify? Is the white culture of Southern California? San Francisco? Seattle and the Northwest? The Great Plains States> New York? The South? The one that like Country & Western music or the one that likes Alternative rock? I’d like to know.

Do my children, who are only “half white” qualify for your white culture, or, like Obama, with his white mother, are they excluded because they value their Japanese heritage as much as their Northern European one, just as Obama values both his African father’s “culture” and his white mother’s “culture”? In short, what white culture are you talking about Glenn?

Or to be more blunt, do you even have a clue as to what is going to come out of your mouth from one moment to the next. After all, you’ve accused Obama of being a Marxist Communist and a Fascist and a terrorist sympathizer? You’ve cast aspersions on his patriotism? Now you say he’s a racist for a white cop arresting a black man in his own home stupid? Really? Is the District Attorney who refused to file charges against that black man a racist also for not defending that white cop’s actions?

Or maybe, Glenn, just maybe you’re obsession with Obama so-called racist agenda, like when you said he is driven by “reparations” and “settling old racial scores”, or when you claimed ACORN is part of a conspiracy to create a “modern day slave state”, or that ACORN’s agenda is to foment riots, an organization to whom you claim Obama is deeply connected on a regular basis, is evidence of your own racist animus toward anyone you deem not white enough, or not sufficiently deferential toward the “rights” of white people, by which I mean people like you. Maybe Glenn, the problem is the log in your own eye is so large it obscures any realistic assessment by you of who is and who is not a racist.

Because from where I sit, if I had to choose between whether you or President Obama is the real racist, it’s a fairly easy decision to make. But I guess that makes me a self-hating white man, right? Damn, it must be true, because I hated my own “culture” so much I fell in love with and married a woman who isn;t white. And I don’t think health care reform is the beginning of “reparations” for black people. What more proof do you and your followers need? You sure don’t need any facts. Those just get in the way of your pre-conceived bigotry and hatred for anyone who doesn’t believe everything you do.

The sad thing about this entire episode, and indeed, your entire career, is that your prejudices and venomous remarks are making you a wealthy man. Which means that America still has a long way to go before we ever get rid of the albatross of racial animus in this country. And no, Glenn, I don’t mean the “minorities” are the ones primarily responsible for the problem of racism. I mean, and let me be clear here, that nasty, pasty faced, fat, small minded ugly bigots like you are the ones most at fault. Until your kind pass away from the American scene, that will not change
